It works.
Flies moved in when It started getting cool. Knocks them down. Smaller flying bugs respond to it if I add a bit of water in a flat container. Took out the mosquitos that way. Just keep it up and away from kids and pets. And away from food and feed. Half a spoon in a saucer near where flies are active. No smell, no dust. Crystals are about the size of a pepper corn. They eat it and don't fly far. The mosquitos stayed in the saucer.

Best fly bait out there!
This fly bait works amazing! It’s really easy to use by just putting it on some older food and it doesn’t smell at all. The flies go away in just a couple hours!

Chicken coop fly control
Got this to control the fly epidemic in my mom's chicken coop. She puts little bowls of it here and there, or hangs something with some in it -- all out of reach of the birds. Every container has dead flies in it, and though they will never be gone their numbers have been greatly reduced. It doesn't put off much odor, so she keeps a sprinkle of it inside in bowl by the kitchen window for the occasional unwanted guest. It is a very good product, and works every bit as well as the stinky yellow crystals I remember my grandmother using back in the day.

How to effectively use this product for drain flies
I had a terrible problem with drain flies, not houseflies. While this product may attract houseflies, it definitely does not attract the drain flies (and "plant based" oil sprays that say they kill flies absolutely does not work for drain flies). I found a good solution for this is to take of plastic jug of milk that is nearly empty with only small amount of milk left in it (1/4 of an inch). Add about 12 tablets to the jug and slosh it around. As the milk begins to sour in 1 or 2 days, the sour odor will attrack the flies to the poisoned coagulated milk. This greatly reduced my drain fly problem.

Didn't work for blue bottle flies
Arrived on time. Product wasn't damaged during shipping and was as advertised. Used as scatter bait for blue bottle flies and it didn't work at all. Completely ineffective.

Works when mixed with a liquid attractant.
This hasn’t killed as many flies, but has killed a lot of gnats well. I mixed with a little bit of hot cocoa and set out in a lid in the house and it has been very effective . I have some out dry and it doesn’t seem to have attracted anything at all. It’s a good size that will last a LONG time. Has no smell when put out, mixed or dry.

I recommend this product
Living a 1/2 mile away from a dairy farm that milks a few hundred cows we sometimes have an abundance of flies at times. Especially in wet weather for some reason. Anyways this fly bait works perfect. Often times the flies don't even make it out of where I have it sit out in a old discarded lid. I highly recommend not putting this anywhere a kid, pet or anything that does not need to come in contact with it because it kills flies in its tracks.
