Question 1

I see that different brands have a different number of "strains".... how many does this have & what id the difference?

The box will give you a number.  Unless you are in the gastro business it is difficult to know which to use.  I chose this one based on the fact that I was sure ‘one’ of those boxes on the shelves would help me and the cheaper ones had not.  So I chose the most expensive box in my pharmacy.  Then finally I got to see my gastrointerologist face to face and he said I had chosen wisely.  But frankly - when you chose the ‘one’ that’s a fit for your needs you should know quickly.  By day 4 I knew I was a new person!  If you need more info - keep asking questions - but I’d go to upscale health food stores and ask.  I can only tell you that I am satisfied and my doctor told me to stay on it permanantly.  It helped to turn my over active colon around.  Good luck.

Question 2

Does this need to be refrigerated.

No Align does not require refrigeration storage. Just an FYI, probiotics normally don't need to be refrigerated. The blister packs of 7 are handy for trips up to a week. 
My gastro suggested Align for both my diverticulitis and IBS. Seems like they work the best that I've taken.

Question 3

Does Align works at the same time I'm taken antibiotics?

Yes Align works very well when you are on an antibiotic. I seem to get UTIs when on antibiotics. I was told by my doctor, when I was on a very strong antibiotic because of the infection I had, I could take 2 a day. One in morning, one at night. That is now what I do and it really helps me.
