Fox 40Mini CMG with Breakaway Lanyard Black

Takes a little practice but man these are loud. Purchased for dog training and works well.

I carried the Acme Thunderer on my keychain for years, and loved it. But this Fox 40 Sonic Blast, without the pea moving part, is supreme! It's compact, very light, durable, and ohhhhhh so loud! Plus, how cool is it that it's made in Canada, where my guitar (a Seagull) is also made! Now I own all the Fox 40 models, and this one is my very favorite. I even got one to wear on a lanyard while on my bicycle for times when the jing-a-ling thing just isn't arresting enough. Great product, this whistle! Ooops! Now I realize this isn't the one being rated here. I also love the mini very very much! All this company's whistle are "top notch"!!!

Comes with a lanyard and a rubber grip on the whistle. I use it for recall training for my dog and it is loud and consistent.

Not loud enough or sleek enough. I prefer the sonic blast and the sleeker micro. I wish the micro had CMG rubber technology for better grip on the teeth.

I carry this whistle on my keychain. I work at a middle school and it is fantastic for getting a crowd of rowdy 14 year-olds to cease mayhem and pay attention to me. Since I carry it in my pocket, the mouth on the whistle gets gross after a few months. I just replace as needed. Worth its weight in gold.

My Blue-nosed pitt is a senior and has loss some of his hearing. He has a tendency to stray in the woods and can no longer hear when I call. I have used this whistle for a couple of months now and he has come back every time! I have to blow it several times,but I know he can hear it.

The package had been opened and taped back together so obviously someone else thought it was crap too! Dogs didn’t respond any better to this whistle than a regular one. If they were giving these away free, wouldn’t take it! Don’t waste your money.

Not as pictured. Cushioned mouth guard was suppose to be black as pictured but the two I received were clear.
