DISAPPOINTED AND MISLEAD
Bought it in March. It just now stopped working. The most you'll get from this product is 6 months of normal every day usage. I work in a tech department where I talk to other computer techs and they know this product. They all were surprised it lasted as long as it did. I went back to my Emerson Bluetooth which I bought new today September 2016. This EM229 model was the same model I used for A CONSTANT USE OVER 10 HOURS A DAY in which I repetitively received calls from dispatch per my job I use to have back in 2011. (MUCH MORE THAN EVERYDAY USAGE) Apparently this Emerson model did not need improvement and is sold as new in local stores for HALF THE PRICE plus tax. Plantronics also makes accessories for their equipment. BUT NOT THIS ONE. YOU WILL FIND IF YOU BUY ANY ACCESARIES YOUR WASTING YOUR TIME. YOU HAVE TO BUY THE MOST EXPENSIVE MODEL THEY MAKE FOR ANY OF THE ACCESARIES TO FIT AND THE MOST EXPENSIVE MODEL LOOKS AND ACTS THE SAME EXCEPT FOR WHERE YOU PLUG IN THE CORD. THIS IS MISSLEADING ON THE PART OF PLANTRONICS. SO IF YOU DECIDE TO INVEST YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY, MAKE SURE YOU READ THE FINE PRINT.

Best Bluetooth iPhone headset
The most impressive part of this headset being its noise-cancellation. Touted as the best in the industry, and I agree. People I talk to while on the road (even with the car, radio and wind noise) often ask if I'm at home.Has simple controls. Comes with several different-sized ear inserts. Very comfortable; after some minutes, I forget that it's there. Has a big, over-the-ear polymer battery, which, on a full charge, can last all day (8-12 hours of occasional use; but I keep a USB-to-microUSB cable in my car, just in case some long conversations drain the battery...)The weakness of this headset is the thinned-down, flexible rubber section that allows the headset to switch between right-ear & left-ear use. I've had, over the last 8 years, *two* of these headsets (actually earlier models) break/rip right at that weakpoint (I'm on my 3rd headset). When it broke, I superglued and taped it (using electrical tape so it blends in with the black chassis, and lock it into right-ear use), and that would extend the life of it maybe a few weeks til I get motivated enough and scrape up the money to buy another (these puppies retail for ~$100; not cheap, but can be found online for $50-60).

DO NOT BY FROM VENDOR!!!
DO NOT BY FROM VENDOR!!! I do believe these are factory seconds or refurbished but poorly done. It worked fine for the first week did everything it was supposed to do. This is the second Plantronics I have bought my first one was two years old, I'd still be using it today if my dog hadn't|decide to use it as a chew toy. The first thing that failed was a volume control wouldn't go up or down, then the connection button at the earpiece stopped working altogether. Now it is totally failed. It connects to the phone, but will not make calls or receive calls. It's a piece of junk and it's sad because Plantronics makes a good earpiece when I do replaces it will not be from this vendor. Do yourself a favor spend a few extra dollars and buy directly from Amazon and Amazon only, at least if you got a problem that work to fix it. Good luck

causing annoying howling and whistling noises in the front of the ...
I drive motorcoaches with plug-style doors.Oftentimes, these doors don't seal well, causing annoying howling and whistling noises in the front of the bus. Kind of like you're driving with your car window open, except dramatically louder because it's the leading edge that isn't seated properly. Most bluetooths I've tried are useless in these conditions -- no one can hear me over the wind and the whistling. Not the Plantronics Voyager Pro. I am on my fifth one now (from loss or damage), and actively seek them out over its replacement (the Voyager Legend) because the Pro uses a standard micro USB cable to charge (I can't keep up with the headsets at all, much less with some proprietary magnetic charger that I need to keep at home and in my car and on the bus!!!).Many coach and bus drivers use huge Road King (or other) over-the-ear headsets that make them look like helicopter pilots. They need all that for the noise.Keep on truckin, y'all. I'm perfectly fine with my Voyager Pro.

Me gusta
