Fujimi 1/350 Imperial Japanese Navy Seaman Figure Set #2 (213 figures)

Fujimi is a somewhat underappreciated model company. They used to be better known here in the US.That said, this is somewhat unusual for them. Unlike the current crop of photoetched brass figures from other manufacturers, these are fully 3-dimensional. They represent IJN sailors in their working uniform, the summer whites. If you don't have some kind of hands-free magnifier, you'll need to get one. Each figure is roughly comparable to a small grain of rice. You'll probably want to stick to painting them just enough detail to suggest their uniforms and features--unless, of course, you *want* to paint a face on 350+ small grains of rice. They're good for what they are, and I recommend them.

Fujimi are a relatively small model company but they do make superlative kits. The attention to detail, even on this scale is remarkable, all the poses shown on the box are there, sprue cutters are recommended for this due to the tiny figures, painting is going to be a challenge. As to their use, they can be painted up for any naval service and gives your model on this scale a sense of place and helps to relate the viewer as to how people fit into the scene. This is my fourth attempt to buy these, !st they had no stock, 2nd got as far as Japanese customs then got sent back, something to do with my address. 3rd was sent but never arrived, got lost, all three reimbursed me but finally modelcars came through, it arrived here earlier than predicted though British customs charged £11.70p for the privilege. For those who model on 1/350 scale I highly recommend these as they are superior to the flat PE fret versions being solid 3D they don't look like cardboard cutouts.

Having a crew gives life to the model. These are three demensional are MUCH better than the flat brass ones or those funny things Tamaya makes. Although they are advertised as Japanese at this scale no one can tell and I have used them for Japanese, American, British and Italian ships. Ya just paint them different. Be prepaired to wait. You would think Fujjimi would put on extra shifts as well as these sell. Figure set #1 is good too, but almost impossible to get.

This is a good set of 1/350 scale figures that are 3 dimensional unlike the flat photo etch. Great for using on Polar Lights 1/350 scale Star Trek Enterprise kits, plus there more to scale. You'll need a magnet fine glass to paint these and to file some of the detail off for use with the Star Trek Enterprises, unlike the photo etch.

This set of figures offers a good choice for building some vivid scenes. I suggest using it with the figures from Pit-Road, which are only available from its 1/350 Ukuru class and landing craft.

I bought these figures for my 1/350 scale Starship Enterprise. You really can't tell they are Japanese, which is why I bought them. Just beware, unless you have a brand new hobby knife and a very steady hand and hard surface, wastage will be quite high. I reckon I lost around 10% due to figures snapping at the waste, knees, necks etc while trying to cut them from the spru. But the fifty or so I used, look really good once painted (a mission in itself!) and positioned in place. Would I have preferred them loose in a plastic box, pre-cut from the spru and pay a little more? Most definitely!

しゃがんでいる人形が必要で購入しました。1枚のランナーに・しゃがみポーズが20・座って左脚前ポーズが13・座って右脚前ポーズが13・直立して両肘から先を前ポーズが10・やや前屈みで両手を顔前ポーズが10・砲弾を手持ちのポーズが5このランナーが3枚、計213個入っています。説明によれば、・しゃがみポーズは弾薬箱運搬・作業中・座りポーズは高角砲・連装機銃操作・直立して両肘から先を前にしているポーズは単装機・銃操作・対空戦闘・両手を顔前ポーズは双眼鏡・砲弾手持ちのポーズは弾薬運搬作業を、イメージしているようです。対空戦闘と言いながら、箱絵の塗装指示は帽子になっていますね。本当は訓練ですら、黒に近いダークグリーンの鉄帽をかぶっているはずです。材質はプラスチックで、金属のエッチングではありません。追記1/350の艦船模型の25ミリ三連装対空機関銃の左右に、座りポーズ人形を1体ずつセットします。1人が機関銃の上下、1人が機関銃の左右を受け持って、2人がかりで照準を合わせていたそうです。

1/350　戦艦大和です。今まででは模型の組み立てで気にもしなかった、乗組員の存在は、46cm主砲や特徴のある艦橋に双眼鏡で監視する乗組員、機銃座座る乗組員や弾倉を持つ乗組員を立てたい、人の存在にもこだわりたい。プラモデルなんて子供っぽいかも知れませんが、60歳を目前に、今まで幾度も戦艦大和に挑戦し満足できなかった自分自身と、本気で最後の挑戦であり、出来る限り忠実であり満足できる作品を組み立てたい一念で、こだわることにしました。折角、1/350スケールだから、オプションパーツも豊富だから、ここまで表現するのなら、頭部には帽子のつばや保護帽を、手首にくびれを、靴のラインをはっきりと、もう少し繊細な加工をして欲しかった、残念。

艦船に載せるなら抜群のアイテムとなりますが塗装が難儀します！拡大鏡とにらめっこほんと小さくて見えない！根気の塗装！これを苦痛と言わず何と言う。

このフィギュアは艦船だけでなく、帆船にも使えて、なかなか良い、期待通りです。

Im Gegensatz zu den bei und erhältlichen 2 dimensionalen Figuren für Modellschiffe im Maßstab 1:350 sind diese dreidimensional, sie müssen nur noch angemalt werden, eine sehr diffiziele Sache, aber das Ergebnis lohnt die Mühe. Nachdem ich von einem anderen Lieferer aus Japan die dort bestellten Figuren schon nach ca. 14 Tagen erhalten habe, dauerte diese Lieferung etwas länger, war aber im angesagten Zeitfenster.Ich war deshalb mit der Firma in Japan per Mail im Juli in Verbindung. Sehr enttäuscht und nicht nur ich, war ich, als ich festellte dass die Sendung nicht alle 213 Figuren enthielt sondern nur 152. Bezahlen musste ich natürlich die Kosten von 17,77 € weit vorher. Ich habe sofort mit Japan gemailt; dort war man sehr bestürzt, dass die Sendung nicht komplett war und versprach mir kostenlos Ersatz zu versenden. Es könne aber dauern. Dies war Ende Juli. Nach den gemachten Erfahrungen, kann es sein, wenn ich den Ersatz bekomme, wird dies nicht vor Ende August sein. Aber ich glaube den Japanern, für diese gibt es nichts peinlicheres als das Gesicht zu verlieren und dies ist so ein Fall. Wäre die Sendung vollständig gewesen, hätte es volle fünf Sterne gegeben. Ich bleibe weiter optimistisch und warte, was geschieht.Sollte ich bis Mitte September nichts bekommen habe, wende ich mich an den Amazonkundenservice, will dann entweder mein Geld zurück oder bestelle diese Figuren bei einer anderen Firma in Japan, welche Amazon beliefert und auch billiger ist. Inwieweit dies Japan-Subcultures gefallen wird, kann ich nicht beurteilen.
