Clean flake salt
Take note of the size you are ordering. I was surprised at how small it was for the price. However, the quality is good. Also note that these are indeed flakes. I was recommended this by someone I trust. Clean salt and tastes great.

Worth the buy!
Absolutely love this salt! Out of all the salts out there, it is the purest and tastes the best!

The best flake salt!
The media could not be loaded. If you are looking for all natural sea salt that is in the flak form, this is the best! The salt is superior tasting to any other salt in our opinion. It’s great to see that. It is harvested right here in the United States.

My New Favorite Salt
I recently purchased my second container of this salt, and I couldn’t be happier with it. I love that it’s lead-free, and it has proven to be incredibly versatile and flavorful in all of my dishes. It’s definitely worth the extra cost, and I appreciate how quickly it arrives when ordering from Amazon. On a lighter note, I love the packaging - it’s simple and somehow nostalgic of my early childhood years.

Heavy metal free
Tamara @ Lead Safe Mama has tested this brand as free of heavy metals as shown on her site. I was shocked at the poor results of other popular brands That was all the endorsement I needed. I rarely use salt. But good to have on hand for other family members who do and for the recipes I make for others. Pretty pricey for the size of the container. I'm sure it's cheaper elsewhere. The only reason it looses a star, is because it can be clumpy when shaking out if you don't really give the box a good shake before using.

Overpriced but excellent clean flaky sea salt product free of heavy metals unlike Redmond Sea Salt
I found this exact Jacobsen Salt Co. Pure Kosher Sea Salt in a larger container (16oz vs 12 oz) and for $5 cheaper at my local The Fresh Market chain store ($10 for 1 lb). Overpriced on Amazon but excellent clean flaky sea salt product free of heavy metal contaminants. Lead Safe Mama ran tests of this brand of salt and it came out clean of heavy metals after I found out her test results for Redmond Sea Salt showed heavy contamination with dangerously high levels of lead and arsenic (290 ppb and 91 ppb respectively which is well above the respective "safe" levels of 10 ppb and 5 ppb). Give this brand a try!

The nose doesn’t lie
This salt is not cheap, but I tried using it to make saline for my nasal rinse and can’t use anything else now. Other sea salts burn. I like that Jacobsen’s is pure, nothing added. It tastes great and is helping keep me healthy in the winter months in Tennessee.
