Could use different fittings
Upon receiving this, the first thing I did was toss out the seat belt connector and I suggest you do the same. I've had one of my dogs step on the seat belt latch before in just the right spot to release the buckle on another one I had. NOT GOOD. I was looking for something more sturdy for a dog who hates the leash, doesn't like feeling tied up. She's a rescue so we have no real idea of how her life was before we got her. She fights the leash but it's necessary for things like trips to the vet. We got a great harness for her out of fear she would choke herself with her collar. I needed a good strong restraint in the car as well, and landed upon this. I use the long section, and it's attached to the connector at the back edge of the seat and bottom of the seatback. I used the locked caribiner on it so I don't have to worry about it coming off. It takes some work to get it in there but once it's there, you can just leave it. It won't interfere with passengers who might need to sit there. Once installed I pulled on it, a lot. I wrapped a strap into the loop to get a better grip and pulled some more, every very hard using my full weight. It stayed, did not com apart, so I am comfortable that this will work for my dog. If you don't like the fitting that are on it, you can easily change them out. You can buy locking caribiners which are the only ones I suggest for this since once they're locked into place, they cannot accidentally be opened. You could use one to attach both of these to make one long one if needed although I don't personally think having a dog on a long leash in a car is a safe thing to do. The should NOT be able to get up between the front seats. These are meant to hold a dog in a small safe area and keep them in your car in the event of an accident. Too many dogs get lost running away from car accidents because they were not properly restrained. Kennels can get tossed around and spring open. This is the only good solution for keeping your dog safe in your car.

Could use heavier duty and bigger hardware
Just received these 2 days ago, just in time for some serious rides in the truck. Product seems great and thus far, has held up to my 2 HIGHLY energetic female pitties. Allowed them movement, but not too much to where they're at risk of getting tangled or injured. I definitely recommend using this product with a harness and NOT a collar as it can put your pup in real danger of choking or, God forbid, snapping their neck if an accident may occur. Even a good slam on the brakes could result in harm if using with a collar. So far, I'm extremely happy with my purchase, hopefully they'll continue to hold since it's been a very short time and my girls are STRONG PULLERS. (We're working on that and manners though). The ONLY complaint I had right away, was how small the caribbeaners are. They don't even fit over the metal loops in a truck bed without pounding them with a hammer and risking the integrity of the product. I had to purchase larger, more heavy duty ones to hook these onto. So my only suggestion would be to use a bit bigger and heavier grade caribbeaners and clasps.

Secure
Two pack plus seatbelt attachment is working great to hold my guy securely from the front of his harness and the back of the harness. We have the doors off the Jeep so I wanted to have him very secure. It’s a little short on the top of the harness but if I wasn’t using the other one for his front I could use it as an extension. I have him in a Chi’s choice harness that has an attachment on top and at the chest.

Love it. Sturdy build and she can’t chew through it and escape when my husband opens the door!!!!!
We love the product for my husband’s new baby from the animal shelter. Directions would have been nice but we figured it out and use ours around the head rest. Febe is 24 pounds and a chihuahua territory mix. Because of this set of cables she is able to ride with her best buddy my husband lol. We wouldn’t change the product at all. We like the fact if she were to chew it she wouldn’t be able to chew through it and it keeps her in “her area” of the car!!!!

Be cautious
Price was good and that it came as a pair. But I used the seat belt connector with the caribeaner for my coonhound. It did help keep her from falling or coming up front. BUT I would not use a caribeaner. As we were driving somehow my dog stepped on the caribeaner opened and it went into her foot. Needless to say turned into a disaster. We had to pull off the road and try to get her calm enough to remove it. Which we couldn't. Had to go to a house of friend in the next town for a bolt cutter. I do not recommend using caribeaner at all.

Good Restraints For Small Dog
I ordered these restraints for my 15lb. Cairn Terrier, so that he could safely ride in my classic cars with me. They are a good length and seem sturdy enough for him. I wouldn’t recommend them for heavier dogs, they’re fairly thin. They attach easily to his harness. I haven’t tried using the seatbelt buckle yet (because they don’t work in my car’s seatbelt latches), but I tested it and it does latch into my modern car’s buckles.

Sonku Dog car seat belt
I bought this because my Aussie is a chewer. He chewed the last seatbelt thing I had for him. This one I just secured around the headrest and then down to the dogs harness. Works great. As far as connecting it into the seat belt itself oh, no I wouldn't do that , I wouldn't recommend anybody do that, not with the carabiner. I would be afraid the dog would step on that and either unhook himself or get that stuck in his foot.

Keeping my doge (Dingo) safe makes me so grateful!
I love knowing that this buckles my dog, Dingo in safely as he travels around everywhere with me. He is training to be my service dog and is such an amazing little guy. His safety is so important to me and I appreciate that you provide a way to help with that. I was bummed that it doesn’t seem to buckle into some of the older model vehicles though. We have a 1992 ford f-150 and it didn’t catch in the buckle as I had hoped so I got creative:)

Cable crimp let go in 5 minutes.
No exaggeration... Took my dog 5 minutes to be free of this product... The crimp that holds the cable together let free.. The cable that is supposed to hold a dog in case of a car accident isn't able to hold for 5 minutes in a normal situation.

Tether broke
This tether broke apart when my puppy tried to jump out of the truck, it came undone at the clasp. I purchased this in June and I only just found out it had 1 month return. When I tried to return it there was no return by date. There is now on the order a return by date. It worked up until today (approx 4 month). I am just glad it happened when we were stopped and not while driving. Buyer beware. Thank you

Great Tether Set
This works perfectly for my 26 lb and 40 lb dogs. You may need some extra fasteners to make it work for your needs, but it's a great set. Very sturdy, no stretching, and my dogs definitely can't chew through it.

2 pieces is not a "2 pack"
This product is advertised as a 2 pack. Sure there are 2 pieces, but it's not a 2 pack. Only one piece that attaches to the seatbelt, and one piece that attaches to the collar. You can use one or two cables, depending on desired length, but you do not get two restraints.

It works....until it breaks
*** Updated. We've used it maybe five times. She snapped it simply getting out of our car in a very calm way. I could understand it not holding her if she was bolting out, but it took very minimal effort to break it.
