Great yarn for making leprechauns

Good quality

I bought this yarn skein to use in some loom hats I made for Christmas and it worked great. The material was soft and easy to work with. I didn’t notice a few issues like the yarn having a knot in it or occasionally feeling course of itchy. However, as a beginner these things didn’t bother me too much. And now that I’m learning how to crochet I notice it doesn’t drag on the metallic hook as much as other yarn has. If you need a nice yarn skein for cheap and are just starting out this is a good product for you.

You really can't beat the price. There's a lot of yarn for such a minimal amount of money, so if that's what you're looking for, buy this. I will say the yarn is much frizzier than I hoped - if you plan to knit or crochet this may be a bit more challenging for beginners. It's nothing too big, but I'd still recommend a heavier yarn that isn't as frazzled. Another this is the way it has been wound up - you kinda have to roll it into a ball no matter what. You'll also probably have some knots here or there while doing so. But the yarn doesn't itch against skin, and is decently durable. Also, the yarn may be thinner than what you’re expecting, so be wary. Other than that - great product! I can normally count on Red Heart for yarn.

I always use Red Heart Yarns. Just hate they don't have dye lots anymore. Never the same hues.

This is what I made using only 1 ball of yarn, its really hardy and good quality yarn. It lasted me much longer than I thought, and I’m ordering another for the handles!

This is the Red Heart Super Saver quality that I’m used to. No knots or fraying, solid, sturdy, matched between balls, just what I needed. I made a large amigurumi piece and realized 2/3 of the way through that I needed more. New ball matched the old because there’s no dye lot discrepancy. Super Saver will never be the softest or the most stunning, but it has its place and it does what it does well. I wanted bright color, nice (not rough) texture, visible stitches, workability, and sturdiness for stuffing and stitching. Would buy again and I recommend it to everyone as their first practice yarn. Can’t beat it for that.
