EXCELLENT!
I am so grateful and extremely happy with this purchase of my new air plant. It’s bigger than expected (it’s huge!) and very beautiful. The little curly-q’s are so cute! I’m going to make a new holder for it.It’s extremely healthy and arrived when promised, faster than most. I’m very impressed. I hope to give it a great life with its new friends in my little apartment greenhouse/fairy garden.Thank you for an excellent experience. Will definitely buy more from this grower. Highly recommend.

Quality plant. The difficulty lies in caring for it.
Beautiful, healthy plant. It was a little smaller than I was hoping for the planter I had for it, but can't complain. Having a little trouble figuring out when to water it, but it's still alive.

Need a little TLC and better instructions, but grow into beautiful plant
I've bought 2 of these, one about a year ago, and one just a couple months ago, after I thought I'd killed the first (cutting off too much of the "root".) First thing I'll say is that Xeros are the least easy-care of any air plant I've had, and the watering instructions are poor. They don't say to dry upside down, and this is crucial with Xeros to avoid rot. That having been said... I bought one about a year ago, and it arrived in beautiful condition (one outer leaf had been cut short, but otherwise perfect.) About 6 months later, I cut down the "root" area more than I meant to, and I was sure I'd killed it. So I ordered another from the same place. The second one did not arrive in good condition. I removed a couple outer leaves right away because they were in such poor condition. The 2nd time I took it to soak (about 2 weeks after it arrived) I noticed signs of rot at the base of the leaves (looked dark purple on the outside.) I tested between leaves by putting a Q-tip between leaves, to the base, and it was covered with black when I took it out. However... I pulled the entire ring of outer leaves, cleaned the outside with a towel, and cleaned out the spaces between all other leaves (at the base) with dry Q-tips. After this, I cared for it as usual, and it has grown very nicely, and rot did not come back. You can see both in the photo doing well.
