Delicious and good size
I don't really like tahini even though I use it all the time in my plant based cooking. This brand is generally great but I hadn't tried the tahini. I was very pleasantly surprised with the taste. It's very different to the ones I've been buying from big supermarkets in a good way! You can tell the sesame seeds are roasted and the tahini doesn't leave a butter aftertaste like some do. It's not stodgy either. Very good for making dressing as well as it can be mixed very easily witj other ingredients. The size of the tub is impressive too! I think it will last a while!

Tasty and natural
We bought this on suggestion of a friend and we really loved it. Beside health benefits, thickness and consistency is great. We love it by mixing with honey!

There's only one problem...
I usually only use tahini when making hummus. I've tried using it in salad dressings, but, although I love sesame seeds, I've just never got on with it. This, however, is a different kettle of fish altogether. It's lovely! It has a nice consistency and very pleasant smooth taste, with no hint of bitterness. The one problem with it is it's so nice, it's hard not to stick a spoon in it and eat it out of the jar! Will power, will power.

Nice flavour but a little too runny.
This pours nicely over toast, but can run off the edge. So lick your fingers

The Queen of Tahini
Forget the rest because this tahini is in fact the Queen of Tahinis. It had a pouring consistency which is brilliant when making houmous or baba ganoush. We love it poured over roast vegetables, added to yogurt as a simple dip or spread in crackers or bread. Best with ripe fresh dates! It tastes divine and is such value for money. We have this as one of our subscribe & save products …never wanting to reach for an empty pot.

The best tasting tahini!
The best tasting tahini I've ever had. I was always put off by the bitter taste of other tahinis, so I thought it's just how it is. Then I learned that it is the bad kind that tastes bitter. So I gave this one a try, as so many people gave it a good review on other sites. I am very impressed! It has a slight salty taste, which I like, but has no added salt. I guess that's just the naturally occurring salt. Amazing product! One person destroyed the ranking of this product, which I think is unfair. I hope more people will give it a try and leave a five star! With any nut or seed butter you just need a knife or a fork to stir it, as the oil separation is natural.

Authentic Mediterranean Tahini
This is not like your average UK tahini, which is thick like peanut butter and is mostly used in the same way as a spread. This is the real-deal Mediterranean Palestinian tahini, which is smooth and oily and is meant to be mixed with water (with actually thickens it) and lemon to make a tahini dip. Tahini is a staple food and often eating by the plate on it's own with pitta (you 'wipe' the tahini with the pitta) and there are many tahini shops that only sell plates of tahini, that's it. That's how much it's loved and it is delicious. Also nutritious with more calcium than we can get from milk. So - look up a tahini recipe and make yourself the most delicious dish or dip, or buy another brand to use as a butter. This brand doesn't deserve anything less than 5 stars the whole way. It's truly one of the best I've eaten and Im from Jerusalem.

Separation with a hard lump of paste at the bottom off the tub
The taste of this Belazu Tahini is very good, the problem I experienced was that it had separated, with some liquid Tahini ad oil at the top of the tub, ad a very firm lump off paste at the bottom of the tub. It was extremely difficult to stir the contents i order to blend - firstly, as the tub is quite tall (1kg size), I had to try with a large serving spoon. Secondly, as the tub has ridges at the bottom, and the hardened paste is difficult to remove from them.I ended up transferring the contents to a wider mouthed mason jar, so I could scrape out the hardened paste and then mix properly.
