I use this to mix bread dough and to let the dough rise in it. The clear sides and the volume markings make it easy to see when dough has increased 50% or doubled or whatever the recipe calls for. It is sturdy. Easy to clean. I would have liked a top for it, but I just cover my dough with Saran Wrap instead.This works fine for my purposes.

I purchased these for my dough proofing because I am a home baker. I love that these are translucent so that allows me to keep a good eye on my dough as it rises. They also have options for you to get bigger sizes, and more containers, they also have others that are the same brand that come with lids. I am very happy with these and I am very pleased with the price on these. They are very durable and I don't find them easy to break or crack.

This product was recommended (Alexandra's Kitchen) for proofing my sourdough bread. I was delighted to discover that 2 of these can fit in the refrigerator side by side instead of just one bowl. So now I can proof 2 loaves of bread at a time and don't need to shuffle items in the fridge so much in order to fit that large bowl. These are also National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) approved for food products.

Item is clearly pictured with lid but you have to buy separately which is ridiculous! Just put a lid on it and charge for it! Who wants a food storage container without a lid?? Now another delivery just for the lid. Also, overpriced, just go get something from the supermarket.

I use this for bulk fermentation in sourdough and find it works perfectly for that, also if I ever decide to increase the amount I bake and need a larger container for sourdough starter I think the cambro would work really great for that as well. Overall a versatile container to have in the kitchen. And it’s a quality piece.

This container works perfectly for my sourdough. I always do double batches and this is the perfect size I can see the measurements clearly. Love it!
