They are a good tight fit on zippo's, bend them in the middle a little, insert ends and push down the center for a good tight seal.

They've been working great in all my Zippos. Nice and Thick Plastic that has stood up to the heat of long burns & it has remained it's original strength. The only thing is refilling my Zippo I have to have a tool to open the port (Because, I don't have any finger nails.). But, everything stays sealed up.

It had a good fit on my zippo which created a good seal. The flip lid for the fuel is well designed and the extra flint spot is a nice extra design element.

I think this surely helps with the evaporation of the fuel. But I don’t think it is doing much, mine still evaporated the Fuel almost as fast as before. It is a cool way of organizing an extra flint and what not but the fuel still evaporates through the wick and may not help as much as I want it to.

I don’t smoke. My Dad always told me to carry one for emergencies. The one issue I’ve seen with Zippos is evaporation. The gasket fits well and holds an additional flint. Double win. I’ll check and see how well it works. But at the outset I’m very happy with this product. I grabbed a 2mm thick Ti lighter from China last year with an included gasket at hinge. It works well. I added this gasket to that lighter. Hopefully with the extra gasket the evaporation will cease entirely or greatly. The only other thing I could think of to reduce evaporation is to get a Zorro lighter body with the brass wick cap when closed. However, how much do you need to spend on the perfect evaporation proof lighter when the ROI takes too long as I don’t use it very often.

My old F XIII zippo dosnt have the fill hole in the lift up felt at the bottom of the lighter. My F 04 has the fill hole in the felt. So i switched the felts from my new to my old zippo. ( what i did with the new zippo is an other review) It mostly worked. A little to much wadding under the felt of my old zippo.It will fit older models. It fit like a plug in my newer 04 so well i left it out of the case for 12 hrs. It lit after a few flicks.( ya i forgot to put it back in the case after filling once. Thats how i know. Camping) It helps prevent evaporation.

I tested with 4 zippos 2 with and 2 without these caps. I tested how much longer they retain the fluid then switched lighters and tested again on average with these caps they retained fluid and extra two+ weeks. Great product

After adding it to my litter it reduces in size. It reacts with the fuel and size is reduced which results in lickage

Hard to fit into your Zippo if you keep the felt bottom insert. Either way if you leave it in or take it out it really doesn't prolong the life of a fully fueled Zippo. I think Zippo fuel is made to evaporate so you keep buying more. Good idea but didn't see any benefit..
