Esprit D'Oscar

Great deal for $40, especially if you like powdery scents like I do. This perfume doesn't have that "old lady" powder smell to it, and I firmly disagree with other reviewers who said it's "for senior citizens". I am 28 and really enjoy the scent. I can see why it's described as timeless: it definitely doesn't have an overly saccharine scent like many popular perfumes now. My partner loves how I smell with I use this perfume with a little baby powder lotion! The scent doesn't linger long on skin, but lasts much longer on clothing, as some other reviewers have pointed out. I pried the lid off with pliers and filled a travel atomizer with it to use on the go, so it wasn't a huge deal to me.

I've had this perfume for 2+ years and love it! My husband bought it for me as a birthday gift as a blind buy. This perfume is exactly a perfume I would have bought if it wasn't a blind buy if I had smelled it in a store. It's definitely a feminine scent. It smells like Egyptian musk which I do like.

I love the smell of this cologne. But I normally buy the original Oscar de la Renta, which is still one of my favorites. This cologne doesn't hold its smell like the original Oscar, but I still like it.

I have worn Oscar de la Renta products for years, but this was a first time with the Spirit fragrance. The price was right and I loved the scent, a little powdery, but that is the bergamot signature. It is woodsy and warm. Not sweet. My husband liked the scent. I found the fragrance needs to be applied all over the body after a shower when your pores are open. Wear it for several days to build the fragrance on your skin even if you shower everyday. Otherwise it did not last very long. Hence, the 4 stars.

I tried several perfumes on orders, but they either had too much musk in them and the lasting scent was masculine; or they were too sweet like something a child would select. Finally, I found the 'grownup' scent. This fragrance is so luxurious and feminine. It's the sophisticated scent. The one that attracts, not repels. I've decided to try another of Oscar de le Renta's scents, since the people at this company understand how to mix the right ingredients in the right proportions. I also read a revue from another customer who said that the fragrance doesn't last on the skin and she sprayed it on clothing and that did the trick. I really appreciated that tip. When I first tried this fragrance it lasted about 7 hours on my skin. But when I applied hand cream the second time I wore the perfume and ended up spreading some over the perfume, the perfume scent disappeared. I accidentally sprayed an article of clothing and I can still smell the perfume today. So, it does last longer on clothe than on the skin, especially if you have other products on your skin.

I bought this by mistake. I thought I was buying the original Oscar de la Renta fragrance. But it is a pretty, light scent which would be appropriate for a young person or someone who doesn't want a powerful scent. The scent is very subtle and doesn't last long. But very pretty bottle.

Wife likes it and she smells great.

No es la típica fragancia femenina de vainilla y súper dulce. Es más suave y completa, es fresca, floral pero no muy fuerte. Excelente para el día a día, yo tengo problemas para que me duren los perfumes pero este me dura todo el día, obviamente no con la misma fuerza. Al final del día es muy leve pero aun así sigue oliendo. Si quieres oler como Old money, esta es tu fragancia.

An older perfume ,but still love it fresh without being over powering

I love this perfume. I used to wear Oscar about 25 years ago and this one has the same light feminine florals. It has good longevity and lingers all day and the bottle is a great size for the price. It’s a little fresher than the original Oscar I think with hints of lemon which I love and it still leaves a beautiful trail of soft violet which is so classy and pretty. I will definitely buy this again and would recommend it to others. I hope you find my review helpful.
