Best decaf organic coffee bean
I am serious about my dose of coffee in the morning. This is how I start my day with a good cup of coffee. I love the smell of dark roasted coffee beans grinded then brew in my camax pour over coffee maker. It's expensive to get this kind of coffee in the coffee shop. So I am always looking out for a good coffee beans. I researched and learned about how decaf is processed and the best way is to use swiss water process. The 454 from Kicking Horse, while a bit pricier, is worth money. It's a delicious, taste smooth, and has low acidity. This coffee bean give fresh, smooth and bold taste. When you open the bag, you can see fresh coffee bean. This is a quality coffee bean.

Good decaf
This coffee is good, smooth, and tasty. It is expensive; I bought it on a mark-down.

My favorite decaf coffee
I have tried a lot of coffee brands and hands down, this is the best tasting coffee I have ever tasted. This is a great coffee for those who like a smooth (not bitter or strong like Starbucks). Also, I like that it is organic, so no chemicals, toxins or mold. Surprisingly good for a decaf coffee.

A bit inconsistent
Have already ordered my second shipment. This brand is delicious. Was never able to drink decaf as most I’ve tried were terrible. I am picky about having the Swiss water process and organic beans, so this fits my needs. Not as expensive as some others out there, but definitely not cheap either, but because it it both organic and Swiss water decafed, I am willing to pay a bit more.Update:Okay, so my third order, I went for the larger 2.2 pound package since I liked it so much. This time there was a noticeable difference in the appearance of the beans. They looked much darker and had a slightly burnt nose to them. I often make a blend of decaf and regular coffee so I am hoping my regular coffee will subdue any off-flavor from these over roasted beans. I do however sometimes make a full decaf cup and I’m not sure I am going to enjoy this. Yes, it’s a dark roast, I get that, but there is such a thing as over roasting. My regular coffee is a dark roast, but it’s no where near the darkness of this particular bag. I also realize there is a science to roasting and sometimes there can be variations in the way the bean responds, so maybe this was a “one-off” batch. I may order again since I know the first two times were great, but also may try another brand depending on how long it takes me to get through this big bag. ( I am the only coffee drinker in my house, but I vacuum pack my beans in mason jars in amounts I use up within a week to keep them fresher). Another option would be to get a medium roast to blend to soften the taste a bit. Time will tell.

Couldn't wait to taste it!
Finally a great cup of decaf that tastes like regular. It's hard to find whole bean decaf and I tried another so called gourmet brand and it was completely oily and caused problems with my grinder. I took a chance on this one and the beans are not oily and grind well.I usually have a glass of iced decaf in the morning but as soon as I got this, I brewed a pot and I was not disappointed. Tastes great! I'll buy it again.
