Checked all the boxes and more!
Love how it's designed specifically for the Camp Chef Explorer with the deflector plates in the right area. So many ways to enjoy. Made fajitas for 20+ people for a get together and everyone was jealous. This worked so well to cook the vegetables across the griddle, push them to the side and cook the meats, both chicken and steak. Get the right tools and this thing is a breeze to cook on and clean. No warping and heat is consistent. Never have to use above med-low as that is plenty of heat. The center is a little cooler but is helpful to use for things that need to slow down. The family (of 7) has fallen in love with this griddle. We've done seared steaks, grilled cheese and made French toast for an army and everyone loved them. Has been so much fun to use! Quality is better than expected and will last forever with proper care, which is a snap.

Don't buy anything else, this is the way to go!
I purchased this for the Camp Chef stove I bought to cook breakfast and lunch on for up to 30 people. Granted it wont cook it all at once but we have food warmers to keep it all hot. I looked and shopped around for awhile before deciding to purchase. We have a stainless steel griddle but food stuck so badly to it. The knock offs were only 5-10% cheaper but don't compare in quality.I gave this griddle 5 stars because I can't find anything lacking. It is simply a great quality griddle and you cant go wrong. If it was thicker grade steel it would be too heavy. The carry handles is strong and secure. I also like the simple but inventive grease can holder. Just provide an empty can and it catches the grease for you. If you don't use it, you will end up with grease running down the leg f the store like I did. The bottom has 2 heavy steel plates welded to the bottom to help prevent it from warping and to help evenly heat it.I cooked pancakes and eggs on it after spraying some Pam on it and it was like using a non stick or teflon griddle. I didn't season it or do anything else besides wipe it down with a wet cloth. With the Camp chef 2 burner stove, it fit perfectly but I noticed the middle is definitely cooler than the rest of the griddle since there is roughly 8" of space between the burners. I was able to use the middle for cooking but it takes significantly longer to cook with. I'll use for keeping food warm in the future.Overall, this griddle will suit us fine for camping a few times a year and so far I'm very happy with it.

High Praise from a picky, picky person.
I bought for my spouse. He is picky and he is HAPPY: “Oh, this is nice! It’s nice and heavy, this isn’t cheap! The handle, It’s beefy!” He is a fabricator, first thing he did was look at the welds. “Those welds are good” “Oh look, the diffusers!”I wish I’d have videoed him to post reaction. First time he hasn’t criticized quality of an Amazon purchase.

Using this in my kitchen only and so far so good!
First off, I am using this in my kitchen and place it over my gas burners. I wanted to be able to cook tepanyaki in my own kitchen, along with quick breakfasts for my family. Last night, I used it to make chicken fajitas for 5 people - chicken breast, 2 bell peppers, 1 onion, and fajita packet. The cooking surface of the griddle was more than big enough - I could have also added steak and made both types of fajitas. The ONLY downfall of using this in your kitchen is the "grease gutter" - there's a hole on the left side and grease began leaking on my floor. I understand this product wasn't necessarily designed for a kitchen though and using a napkin (until I make a cork or something to stop the grease) helped out. Other than that, the quality of this griddle is really high - it's super heavy though but that's what you get with quality, right? Can't wait to do some fried rice, burgers, pancakes, and in the winter time I would imagine I'll be using it even more.Cleaning it was difficult due to the size but like I said I think this was designed for outdoors, not indoors. It doesn't fit in the sink. I wiped it down with paper towels first then light soap and water. Took about 5 minutes. Dried it with paper towels and I store it in my garage (it won't fit in any cabinets due to size). I understand there is a carrying case for it but since it won't be leaving my house I won't be buying one. If you're using this for camping or outdoors, I would recommend getting one.Overall, I'm impressed with the quality of this product and the way it heats. Had no issues with "cool" zones as some others have stated. I am however using 3 burners on my kitchen stove with this unit and maybe that's why there are no heating issues.

Griddle me this.....
I never thought I'd opt for a griddle over a grill, but here I am. Tire of burgers, dogs and kebabs falling into the grill? Hate heating up the house in the summer, but you didn't think you could make pancakes and omelettes outside on the grill? Well this product is for you. The versatility of the griddle is amazing from stir frying to searing. If I need a stove , I take the flat top off (boiling corn etc.) Griddle on for everything else. I cheated and bought a small charcoal grill so when the meats are done cooking, I put them in the charcoal grill for a couple minutes to get that smoky flavor and no ones the wiser. The camp chef products are excellent quality so this product is no exception. I use this with my two burner stove.I love that it comes pre-seasoned, so it was non stick from day one with lots of square footage. I cooked 16 hot dogs and 12 burgers with room to spare. Placed 12 Italian sausages to cook while frying up the peppers and onions alongside them, can't so that on a grill. It is heavy, so probably not for the smaller builds to try and put on and off. Cleaning was quick and relatively easy if you have a nice brush. I did find it expensive however it does deliver on quality and versatility. Place your stove at a small angle to the left so the grease flows toward the hole into a large beer can. I highly recommend.
