My 13 year old daughter purchased this. Here is her review:"In general, I've always loved the soft material, high quality, and accuracy on every non-prehistoric product that Wild Republic makes. This included this hyena which is a real treasure. It has lifelike eyes and a perfectly sloped back. It's bigger than I expected and has some of the softest fur I've ever felt on a stuffed animal. Would buy this any day. Totally worth the price!"We are including a picture of the Wild Republic fox which is the average size for their stuffed animals next to the hyena to show the sizing better with my daughter's hand there too for comparison.

Although hyenas are not my favorite animal, this little guy was appealing for his compact size and just looked cute! And he turned out to be even cuter and cuddlier than I expected upon arrival! I really LOVE the Cuddlekins line -- the fabric is SOOO soft that even full grown people like myself enjoy the luxurious and comforting feel of a plush stuffed animal. They take me back to childhood in a good way and are just plain fun to have around. My cats tend to love them as well (kneading them and sometimes sleeping on top of the larger Cuddlekins snow leopard which I also have). I also really like that Wild Republic has such a wide variety of plush animals -- I also saw a Honey Badger and so forth -- and the tags have a code to find more information about the animal the plush is fashioned after. They are made in China but then, what isn't these days. VERY satisfying cutie pie -- highly recommended!!

Hyenas are absolutely my favorite animal and I love to collect plush animals, so when I saw this lil' guy I knew I had to get him! When he arrived, I was super satisfied with how he looked, the stitching was really well done, I didn't see any problem with him. He even looks great on display since he can stand up! A lot of stuffed animals that I have really can't stand up on their own, they kind of just flop over all sad-like. This plush however, doesn't have any bum legs, so he can stand up perfectly fine! He isn't incredibly stiff either, he's very soft and hugable not only because of the plush's general softness, but the fur is very soft too! I would recommend this lil' fella to anyone who wants a cute stuffed animal!

I got this little guy awhile ago but I'm now just getting to reviewing this little guy. I'm happy to finally find a stuffed hyena that actually looks like well a hyena and isn't cartoony or Disney (not that there's anything wrong with that). On to the toy itself it's extremely soft from his ears his muzzle and his paws. He's absolutely adorable with a sweet look on his face and is just huggable as all heck. An interesting thing to not about this toy is unlike many of the canine or feline stuffed animals from wild republic this guys stands up on his own and isn't floppy which is pretty cool. Overall I recommend this to stuffed animal and hyena fans of all ages.

I love this stuffed animal! It is soft and beautiful. Lost one star because the stitching on the leg came loose on the first day, and my 18-mo. granddaughter is gentle with it. I repaired it and hope it was an isolated occurrence as it seems to be well made. Would buy again and recommend.

This plush is beyond adorable! I had never seen a Hyena plushie before. Due to uniqueness alone, this would get 5 stars from me. However, HIS FACE is exceptionally sweet! He carries an almost sheepish little expression that is instantly loveable. His fur is soft and cuddly to snuggle. The stuffing is a little stiff (so that he is able to stand up), but not nearly so much that it feels uncomfortable to hug. Wild Republic has lovely stuffed creatures at a phenomenal price for what you get, in my opinion. I would highly recommend this plush to anyone interested. Just do it! You won't be disappointed. ^_^
