I recently received a Silhouette Cameo and wanted to use it for Vinyl Projects. I ordered this set of vinyl due to the price and great reviews. I received my order quickly, and was very pleased with the color assortment. The colors are exactly as shown in the picture.I was not sure how I would figure out what settings to use on my cameo in order to cut this brand of vinyl (actually no brand name was given) I had problems with a bad blade at first, but after getting a new blade I have found that the Silhouette Vinyl setting works perfectly on this vinyl. The blade is set to 2. I use the mat when I cut my vinyl because I cut the vinyl to the size needed before putting it in the cameo. I do this because the Silhouette Mat is so very sticky and it was ruining the rest of the sheet of vinyl that I wasn't cutting. When I would try to peel the unused vinyl off the mat it would stick too hard and the vinyl would wrinkle. I definitely suggest using only the size you need.I have used this vinyl on glass candle holders and on glass jars. I ordered acrylic tumblers for my next projects. I love having such a large assortment of colors. I will be ordering more of this vinyl for more projects!

At first, I would have given this product 5 stars. After using this, and the removable version, I have notice there is no consistency between the sheets, mostly having to do with the adhesion. This makes weeding a nightmare on intricate patterns. I use the vinyl to sandblast glass. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. There a few times where i was able to weed it very easily and it adhered to the glass perfectly. Other times, I couldn't get it to come off the contact paper, or it simply wouldn't stay on the backing while trying to weed around it. I would love to buy an entire roll of this if I could be guaranteed it would work. For now I am stuck in limbo and my have to explore other options. I have wasted too much time and money on wasted cuts. If its any consolation, the light blue on the removable worked perfect!. I also didn't see any difference between the removable and the permanent. I am most likely going to try the roll of black, seeing as it had good reviews, but so did this. I guess it may be good for some applications. I wanted to contact seller before writing review, but I couldn't find a way... May just be me, but easier contact may have fixed negative feedback.Edit: Also wanted to add that the backing to the vinyl wasn't consistent either; sometimes it would be weaker and the cutting mat would adhere to it and rip it. Other times it wouldn't stick at all. I've only used one mat so far, and the problem changed intermittently.

I've had my Silhouette Cameo for a year now and I've ordered several batches of this vinyl. In the beginning, it was a good assortment for the price to "practice" without having to invest a ton of money. Plus, since I hadn't actually "vinyled" anything, I really didn't know what I needed as far as color, etc. You can get quite a lot out of the 12x12 sheet - I've also ordered the 12x6 and been just as happy with them. I've used this vinyl on everything with no problem - even cups that I put in the dishwasher religiously. I vinyl everything! I've saved so much money on gift purchases with my Silhouette. This is one of the reasons this pack is so great - you never know when you'll need a gift or what vinyl you'll need for it so it's great to have on hand. It cuts well, peels well - absolutely no complaints. The color variety is great - you get a little bit of everything. It's the best "pack" I've found without having to invest a ton of money in one color. Highly recommend!

So far so good. I cut & weeds really well. I used MTC software, using a mat and set the blade=3, force=3, speed=2, double cut (& It was perfect). I will increase my speed gradually later on. I used Duck Laminate Adhesive Peel N' Stick Shelf Liner, Clear 12"x36' as transfer paper (saw it on one of the forums) and it worked well. Walmart sells the transfer laminate for $10 less than Amazon, but I ordered it already before I saw it. This is my first try, on this product, so, I used the color that I will not likely need just in case I messed up. It came out perfect! I need to read those negative reviews because this product is amazing. Most Cameo users that cut vinyl set their blade depth to 2, but my gut instinct told me to set it at 3 and it did not cut all the way thru the paper backing (It was perfect). I rather weed the vinyl on my mat than get partial cuts. My next project will be on a car window, so for outdoor longevity, I will do an update of this review.

I had ordered the 12" x 12" product and received the 6"x12" size 2 days later from vinyl ease. I was in urgent need for the product and was able to make due with the size sent to me. I emailed the seller about the error. They responded quickly and was very apologetic about the error. They informed me that they would ship out the correct size (12"x12") the next day with priority and that I did not have to send the wrong size back. They are a superb seller and their customer service deserves an A+ rating!In terms of the product, I cut it with my silhouette cameo and it cut perfectly! (I had my cameo set with a speed of 8; thickness of 9 and blade of 1 without a cutting mat). It was my first time cutting and applying vinyl. I applied the cut vinyl to a wine glass and used clear contact paper I purchased from the dollar tree instead of transfer tape. It went on perfectly! The adhesive is strong and I was able to wash the glass without any problems or movement. I will definitely buy this product again for future projects!
