I'm absolutely thrilled with this magnetic aquarium fish tank glass algae scraper! As a proud owner of a beautiful goldfish aquarium, I was tired of struggling with stubborn algae stains on the glass walls of my tank. This product has been a total game-changer. I am a skeptic and I didn't think one of these would do a thing for the algae on my tank. I have been hand cleaning it for years so I know it takes some elbow grease to remoe. I decided on this one because the tank piece floats to the top and I thought that would be a nice feature. I am blown away by this thing. The magnet on the outside pulls in the inside piece from 5-6" away! They do not separate easily when cleaning so that's a non-issue. It cleans super quick, much quicker than how I had been cleaning it. I had a lot of algae on the side of my tank and it removed it with a couple swipes. I didn't take pictures because I was sure it wouldn't work, so why bother. I wish I had because the tank glass is now clear - I was able to do all sides of my 75 gallon tank within 5 minutes. I wish I had bought this sooner!

I was looking for something small that could fit into tight corner of my aquarium and this little green guy seems to do the trick. Even though it states to use it on 0.35 inch (~0.8 cm) glass thickness or less, I actually use it on ~0.4 inch (1 cm). It works pretty well on scrapping off the algae on the glass, but you can feel it's not as strong as it should be. 2 things wish I knew before buying: First, it doesn't align with itself as you rotate the scrubbing around. Second, wished the description of the product stated that it was non-floating.

Fabulous item! I luv it!! My water looked fine on the inside but the algae on the glass made the tank look terrible I thought the fish were living in horrible conditions until I bought this product and used it. In one swipe it cleaned it up to look completely clear and my fish are fine! I don’t know how long it will stay working this good but at the price I’ll toss it and buy a new one. My kids also love being able to clean the glass. My only regret was not taking before and after shots to show the difference.

Works great for my fish tank, much cheaper than the pet store prices for one of these.

Needs to have a stronger magnet.

Very very happy with this product! Same size as the comparable Mag-Float at half the price! More cleaning surface and easier to hold! Definitely recommend!

edit 6.2.24:I am sorry to have to reduce my rating down to one star.I'm using their largest magnet scraper on my 200 gallon tank to keep the algae at Bay and I can no longer do that because the razor blade scraper/holder won't stay seated on the end. it keeps on popping off. I've made sure the indent and tab are clean but nothing seems to help.edit 5.29.23 :ordered a new one after the other one started leaking. the new one has now been working for months with no issues so I'm upgrading my review to a 4 star. I'm withholding a star only because the first one was defective and I wish the magnet was a little bit stronger for my thicker glass.I have a 210 gallon aquarium and The Glass looks like it's about a half inch thick.this magnet scrubber seems to work great but in using it the first time I had a series of continuous bubbles emanating from the inside the aquarium half of the pair.strong magnetic attraction through the half inch glass seemed to work great on stubborn brown algae that has grown on the glass. some spots it took 10 or so passes of the inside scrubber to clean this stubborn algae off but I am pleased with the results.since my aquarium is about 2 ft deep the desire to have a floating magnet is key and my concern is the bubbles indicate water is going into the inside of the aquarium half.I may just have a manufacturing defect and will replace this unit for what I hope to be a better one from the same manufacturer.
