Not real wool!
I bought this for wet felting, and it would NOT felt. Turns out it's not real wool, I took a lighter to it and it MELTED. Wool doesn't melt, this is some sort of plastic fiber. It might be ok for knitting but call it what it is, don't try to pass off plastic as real wool.

Addicted to this roving wool!
I’m obsessed with this yarn, and as pricey it is I just can’t stop buying it! It’s incredibly soft, but keep in mind that as roving wool is not plied, it can come apart easily. I do recommend felting it as this is a great way to prevent this from happening. I ordered the light grey, and the shade is simply lovely. With the help of a few YouTube tutorials, I learned how to arm knit with this yarn easily and made the blanket featured with 4.4 pounds. The yarn can also be used on jumbo-sized needles as well - size 50, 70, and 150 are all ideal. The 24 x 24 pillow cushion featured was made with the same light grey yarn using size 50 needles and 5 pounds of yarn.Overall, a fantastic product - I recommend buying in bulk because it’s really rather pricey otherwise.

This is NOT wool-- picture shows melted plastic.
I can't give zero stars. I purchased this product for felting artwork. It is most certainly NOT wool; the fibers will not felt and they melt into a blob when held to a flame. The price is comparable to real Merino wool! Don't be fooled! Last time I make a purchase without reading the reviews-- others had already posted a warning like this one not to buy this junk.

Not what I was expecting.
First, I have to say that I was planning to use this yarn for a purpose other than arm knitting. I planned to braid it and wrap it around a pole in my basement family room. But, as I was unwrapping it to make my 3 strands it broke with very little pulling. So I was going to make 3 balls the same length and then braid. The fibers just pulled apart as I was unwrapping the wool from the skein. It was not strong at all. I don't see how it it could work it arm knitting being so fragile, but I have not arm knitted before. Is it supposed to be this fragile? I don't know. I did like that it was soft and the color was as expected. An expensive purchase for something I will not be able to use.

Not interested in having patchwork knitting
This product will definitely not work for arm knitting! Before I had my first row complete, I found 2 breaks in the yarn! I might work and mend the first break and continue on.... but the another break within 5 feet!I don’t think so

The worse stuff there is.
The yarn ripped apart when I tried working with it. I had those fibers all over my house, all over everything for months and months. Don't get this, you will be very dissatisfied.

Super soft and chunky!
Very nice and soft! Used for a hand blanket. Sheds a bit though.

Not real wool
It’s synthetic wool, not natural wool as I expected.
