These oats are terrific. Taste great and come in a big container that lasts a long time. I put fruit on top and have them for breakfast.

Really good quality oats and I don't understand all of the negative comments regarding the lid. It's the same way lids have been sealed for a long time. If you're hands are a little weaker then use a basic pair of pliers to grab the pull tab.

Love they come in bulk. Will buy from again.

Wow I was excited to get my order today rather then TuesdayLike the price and that it's made in 🇺🇸 USA.Cooks up better then some brands I buy in the store.I'll order again.Only problem!!!! I couldn't get the lid off. Tab wouldn't pull too tough.I had to use a utility knife to cut inside top of lid out.

My first time ordering steel-cut oats from Amazon. I usually choose rolled oats but I can recommend this variety as well. Oats are a favorite food and I need to learn more ways of cooking this variety.One caveat, the bucket they come in is very sturdy and I imagine it will come in handy. The bucket is however, literally dangerous to open. Be careful please.

Hubs and I LOVE this oatmeal! If you're an oatmeal-lover; buy it. Cook it 3 to 1 proportions of water to oats, add a pinch or two of salt (trust me here - it makes it better) and simmer it on the stove until it's chewy or soft, whichever you prefer. We cook white raisins in ours and serve with a brown sugar/cinnamon mixture - just yum!This is NOTHING like oatmeal bought in the grocery store - even if you buy an expensive box of imported steel-cut oats. Eat a bowl of this and you'll not be hungry for hours!!

Yummy oats that cook up quickly in an InstantPot, but check the size of the container here first, lest you think you're getting a bargain with anything even close to the size of a 5 gallon bucket.

We eat steel cut oats every day and the containers that you buy at the grocery store are very small. This is a nice supply in a resealable bucket. I don't have any trouble opening or closing the bucket and it seems very air tight. It saves me having to put oats on my grocery list all the time.
