LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga (PS4)

Brought this for my 8 year old for Christmas - fabulous game, he absolutely loves it!

I got this game for my partner. He seems to love it

This game is fun and light hearted its everything you want from a lego game and its a must have for any star wars fan that being said it has its faults and thats why i could not give it a five star. The first hour i Played this game I honestly regretted my purchase and was tempted to return it. something as simple as a disclaimer would have taken away all my anger - Basically the first episode of each movie trilogy is more of a tutorial than a game at times which is why it feels rather rushed and basic at times. Its only until you unlock free play and start playing in in the open world arena that the game begins to pick up pace. Another fault i find with the game is for some reason TT games have decided to take away the flight option for R2 and weaken boba fetts jet pack to a light hover which will never help you jump any distance, my own theory for why this is , is because of Rey which they have given her this glider option which is fits the bill where in other lego sw games you would turn to a droid or bounty hunter now you need Rey. There is an ongoing theme where they seem to have tried to make Reys character as useful as possible so as to make her needed and the centre of attention again this is seen in the opening credits and the main menu. Sith Rey is hilarious and i love her but regular Rey no i would rather be using boba fett for making them big leaps and unfortunately this is no longer possible. But the biggest negative is simply this The Skywalker saga is not SW the complete saga , personally I prefer the original and that wont change. Having said that the SWS is a great fun game which i am still playing through and enjoying unlocking all the features it like any other lego game can become rather addicting good buy good family fun game.
