Great product for the age and current skills of our 5 yr old.
It’s not too bulky. Our 5 yr old daughter has had initial swim lessons and spends a lot of time in the water each summer. This allows her to practice technique without the fear of going under. The 8 individual float pads can be removed a few at a time as she get stronger with her skills. I would still not be outside of the pool until she can swim very well without any assistance but this is perfect for a child that has some skill but still needs some extra help staying above water. I would recommend this to a friend.
