I am a 64 year old woman who has bitten her nails all my life. I have always hid my hands and the only rings I wear are my wedding rings. Always embarrassed of my bitten nails. I got this and started putting it on my nails daily. It tastes absolutely horrible. Before I knew it, a week had passed and no biting. It has worked fantastically for me. I am now more than 2 months with no biting and actually got my first manicure! My nails are beautiful! I highly recommend this for anyone wanting to stop.

Okay so I have no photos because i’m irresponsible BUT i originally bought this mid/late december and it works SOO good. I’ve been chewing my nails for 18+ years and my nails are just nubs so I have tried so many things to help and I found this bad boy. The taste is bitter (I make a sour face) and will definitely linger on your lips so it’s a sort of punishment that stops you from even chewing your skin around your nails. It gets on finger foods sometimes but it’s so worth it!! Because I couldn’t bite to thin them and the polish itself help aid in thicker nails! Unfortunately I left the polish in a different state as I moved and December and was riding on glue on nails. I recently found myself with no glue on nails and completely destroyed my progress (I chew of habit to the point my nails bleed) so I’m pretty excited to have purchased this again and restart my nail journey. It’s SO WORTH IT.Also ps if you get it on your lips I just get my toothbrush and paste and just scrub my lips raw and it goes away :)

As a chronic nail-biter, this stuff is my favorite anti-bite polish that I've tried. It does need a couple of coats twice a day, which some people might find annoying, but I don't mind. Tastes terrible, so it does the trick.

Honestly this works... I literally feel terrorized by this stuff. I put it on twice a day, and boy I have not bitten my nails for the last few days so that's good! But everything I touch tastes horrifying, even my own lips for some reason taste horrifying, like if I lick my lips, it ruins my day for the next half hour... I think the taste wipes off all over me because your fingers individually touch your nails, and then if the bottom pads of your fingers touch something, like lets say a chip, and you go to eat it, then that chip will taste bitter. Idk I am just afraid of everything now lmao and I definitely don't want to bite my nails ever again after I get over this!

This really made me stop biting my nails. The taste is so bad, the taste stays in your mouth for a good while too so you won’t be planning on biting again! Need to order more soon because I am just about out.

It feels off after a day or two. It does taste bad and helped me to stop biting. I dont apply it as often as suggested just once and reapply when it peels. It does seem to take a little bit of nail when it peels. I dont by any means have brittle or bad nails. For biting they are healthy and strong.

This is the first Amazon review I have written in my life after buying Amazon product for 10 years. We have been struggling with our 3.5 year old with finger sucking and have literally done everything in the books. EVERYTHING. However this product literally killed the habit in a stress free easy way. We were literally shocked as parents how well this worked. Now how we did it? We never told her it was to get rid of sucking or that sucking was bad, instead we told her the product was to strengthen her nails and every time we completed applying the polish she could pick 2 stickers. WE LOVED it and the PRODUCT helped 1000%.

I bought this for my 2 yr old son who has sucked his thumb from day one. I was starting to get worried about how his thumb sucking might affect his mouth/teeth development. I tried hot sauce (this doesn't work because it doesn't stay on his thumb long enough so you have to make sure to apply and reapply thru out the day). I tried a sock over his hand (this was good for night time but not during the day because he wasn't able to grab anything meticulously while playing which was very frustrating for him). I tried the nail polish with garlic but that didn't work either. Not sure if I may have messed up the recipe but it seemed like after it dried then all of the taste was gone and it was just like normal nail polish. So I tried this stuff. He only sucked his thumb once and has yet to do it anymore. Yes, it is a horrible, potent, bitter taste. I tried it so I knew what he was getting into. It is HORRIBLE. But it sure does the trick. When he stuck his thumb in his mouth he just made an awful face. He didn't cry or ask for anything to drink so it didn't hurt him. I could see this maybe being a problem if you give them a messy finger food where they lick their thumbs and might not make it pleasurable to eat. But luckily he sucked his left thumb and he is right handed so it was no worries. I kept this on his thumb for one week. I believe he was truly broke from it in 2 days, but I wanted to make sure that if he tried to start again, then he would know that it still didn't taste good. I am a highly satisfied customer and would extremely recommend this for any thumb sucker or nail biter. It will do the trick for sure!
