300W 20A DC-DC Wandlermodul Step Down Voltage Module Konstantstrom Einstellbarer Buck Converter

I haven't touched CC pot, just the CV one to set the output voltage. I'm amazed at how efficient this circuit is. I've done a few quick tests. The most current I've drawn and measured is this: I've set the output to 17 V and drew 6.9 A which it handled no problem with 30 V on the input drawing 4 A. I think I'll buy more of these.

I used this in a solar setup to down voltage a 12v pond aerator to 6v. It worked like a dream for about 4 days, typically drawing about an amp and barely feeling even slightly warm. Then on the 4th or 5th day I noticed it was too hot to touch (I could even smell the heat), and drawing about twice the normal current. I stood there for about a minute, watching the power consumption on the charge controller's display go up and up and up and decided to very quickly disconnect the device. Something has clearly failed and I'll be returning it at the weekend. Shame.

The device works fine. Tested up to 15A but gets warm at higher currents. However the packing was bad since capacitors c16 and c9 at the bottom of the board were detached from the board and needed soldering.

The two green caps near the input side got very hot when used with my 40V batteries. They seem fine with a 12V pack but have since exploded with my 40V supply. I wouldn't recommend using this module for anything north of 24V honestly.

Ich verwende es für eine Kompressor Kühlbox und ein LED Streifen in Verbindung mit 20Volt Akku's beim Camping. Geht super. Es gehen allerdings keine 20 Ampere darüber. Das einstellen der Ausgangsspannung am Regler ist etwas langwierig. Man muss schon viele Umdrehungen machen ehe da sich etwas tut. Geht aber ziemlich genau einzustellen.
