Just what I needed
Got a new job and will be heading into the office a couple of times a week.Looking forward to laying out my outfits each day with this handsome piece. Great quality.Easy to assemble takes up the perfect amount of space to make laying things out worth the effort. My wife saw it and she wants one too.

Very good craftsmanship. Sturdy. Loved it.
For long time I wanted to buy this. Compared to all other options on amazon usa, this is value for money deal. Perfect height, steadiness, mixes with my other furniture. Holds a lot.

Easy to put together and very sturdy
I was very skeptical about buying this valet. It came today took my hubby maybe 30 minutes to put it together. No parts were mixing or broke no damage and it’s very sturdy. I’m very impressed with this item It took me a few weeks to convince my husband he needed it now he loves it.

So Pretty and Functional! Design is wobbly.
Its great and holds everything I need to get ready in the morning. Only downside is that its design includes two thin tall legs, which inevitably are pretty wobbly. If they added a third in the middle it would be perfect and feel more premium. But all the other parts are real solid wood and metal, with an easily adjustable and shiny mirror. This saves me so much time and effort in the morning and helps me with organizing laundry. Can't recommend it more WHEN ITS ON SALE! ($55-$65) Otherwise the value is not there. With a sturdier design I'd pay $80 for it.

Good deal for decent quality
This came with all the parts. Took 5 minutes or so to assemble. No major issues. I do think the part that holds the mirror and jacket could’ve been a bit more sturdy but overall it’s not bad and will work. For about $20 more you can get a drawer, nicer base, as well as two studs on the side for a belt or tie. I wish I would’ve seen that before buying this one. Oh well.

The best investment I have ever made
I purchased this valet because it takes me a long time to get ready, in the morning, and I thought it was a good idea to set up the outfit the night before. I had a valet, that this one replaced, and it didn't have a shelf or mirror. Both these additions, not to mention the bottom rack for shoes, are invaluable to me. I can leave my wallet, watch, and keys on the valet and it even has a depression in the shelf to put your change without worry that it will be in the way of anything else or fall off the valet, should you need to move it. I keep it in a centralized location, near to my closet and if I need to move it I can and all the items on it are secure and have never fallen off. It has proven to be so useful that my wife and I compete over it and another one will need to be purchased. As for how to use this, I have some suggestions. If it is a suit that you are wearing (or any jacket over a shirt), you should hang the jacket, first, then hang the shirt. If you do it this way, you will be able to put on the shirt and tie, while utilizing the mirror, and preventing your jacket from wrinkling after you have laid it aside to get to the shirt. If you wear an undershirt, then hang it over the pants. You can spread it out or simply fold it down the middle and then lay it over the bar. If you are keen on repeating a suit (hopefully switching out the shirt), then the way you'd put it back on the valet is the reverse of how you would take the items off. I have no cons about this valet because I have made some additions to it. 1. I added two hooks on it for a belt and a tie and 2. I mounted a cord to it so that I could convert it into a charging station. The hooks I used were nothing more than the ones you can find at a grocery store that have permanent mounting tape on the back. I managed to get some that were similar, in color, to the valet and don't look out of place. As for the cord, I used brackets (along the back) that I obtained from a hardware store to hold the cord in place and have a place where it can be secured to the top. Once again, I matched the colors. I have been toying with the idea of using a jigsaw to cut a hole in the shelf, in order to permanently mount the cord flush with the top or sink the USB charger flush with the top of the shelf. Perhaps I'll do this with the second one I purchase and give my wife the one I currently use. As for putting this together, you need to be VERY careful that you are using the correct parts. They may all look the same, however some of them have screw holes in specific locations and you'll be unable to assemble it if you find that you have already used this piece, elsewhere, during its construction. Don't think that this is easy enough to disregard the instructions. At the very least, you should read them so that you can separate the pieces I am talking about to save you the time it takes to disassemble the valet to liberate the piece you need, only to reassemble it all over again.

A so-so effort
An OK but slightly underwhelming product. - Ease of assembly: 4 stars. Takes less than 15 minutes. Instructions are clear. Have a Phillips screwdriver handy; the manufacturer supplies the other tool (a hex wrench). - Material quality: 2 stars. A cut below Ikea. During assembly, you're supposed to rest the large wooden tray face-down on the floor. The finish promptly scratched on my clean hardwood floor. I should have used a rug or a towel. The jacket-hanger portion of my valet stand has an ugly rectangular stain or rub mark -- not caused by me, that's how it came out of the box. Packing materials are adequate but bush-league. Poorly and lovelessly wrapped in some third-world country, using a bewildering array of cardboard, thin paper, styrofoam, plastic, and tape. - Condition: 3 stars. See above. In my case, all the wood, especially the side slats, was covered in fine dust, probably sawdust. Easy enough to wipe clean with a moist towel -- but I shouldn't have to. - Stability: 3 stars. It's sort of all right, but this valet stand doesn't take much of an accidental push to knock it over. I've semi-wedged the horizontal rear feet under the baseboard radiator of my bedroom, to reduce that risk. - Utility: 3 stars. It works. It looks fine from a distance. But: the bar that holds the pants is relatively low to the ground. You can fold them over as intended, but if you allow the fold to be high up, the pant legs will touch the floor or even drape across it. (I'm of average height, by the way.) Making the fold some 8 to 10 inches from the top of your trousers should be the answer, except that if they're lightweight pants with a more or less substantial belt, the weight of the belt will cause the pants to slide down onto the floor. Some kind of rubberized material on the top of the bar would've helped. The bar isn't open on one side, so you have the lift the pants and guide the bottom of the legs through the U-shaped (rather than L-shaped) contraption. It'll do, but it's not as convenient as the alternative. Value: 2 stars. I wouldn't have paid this much for it in a brick-and-mortar store -- got fooled by the Amazon photo. Up-close, the materials look like they cost maybe 10 bucks, if that. $30 to $40 would be a fair retail value. 70 bucks is a steal, but for the wrong party -- not you. Side note: The Amazon description mentions an "accessories drawer." There is none. Just the tray you see in the picture. Anyway, considering the hassle of disassembly and repacking and arranging for a return, I'll keep it, but I wouldn't buy this thing again. No worries, I'll live -- after all, you Winsome, you lose some...
