It actually worked well for the first few days of use. I knew what to expect from a tiny evaporative cooler powered by Micro USB. The colder the water, and the drier the ambient air, the better it works. This specific unit seems to work via capillary action, with the water soaking its way up the cooling media.HOWEVER.Construction is incredible flimsy. Micro USB input is finnicky and the unit will flicker as it's losing power if you slightly move it. Tried numerous cables to isolate that as the problem. The reservoir is also not big enough to hold ice cubes, even small ones, which would increase the cooling performance. The big problem though is that the pump in mine failed very quickly. I was all of the sudden noticing the water was staying in the reservoir for much longer than normal, so I opened the top and pulled out the cooling media (very easy to access in this unit, which is typically a good feature) and it was BONE DRY.I put nothing but filtered water in this, so I'm incredibly surprised the pump failed so quickly. The box it arrived in was also not taped like it was a returned product, and it did not include a power cable.Save your small amount of money and buy a higher end unit.

Complete waste of money. Maybe mine was just defective but it was hardly even blowing air out at all. After carefully following set up directions the menu button was unresponsive. It turned on for a few minutes but you literally had to put your face up to it to feel a mildly cool gentle breeze. Definitely not enough air to be able to feel from your office chair if put on a desk like I had planned to do with it. I didn't expect a full AC unit but I did at least expect to have a working mini to cool just the few feet of my home work space where it gets a little warm but it wouldn't even do that. Literally a few minutes after set up it shut off anyway and has not been able to turn back on since then. I basically just spent $40 for a few minutes of lookwarm wind. Returned for a refund and would not buy again.

DISLIKE= Small and lightweight. Hard to take it seriously. LIKE= It actually works! cools a space near you, and/or adds humidity for those spaces over- air conditioned..

I bought two of these for my kids to put in front of their computers. They barely blew air at all! A small fan was more powerful than the fan they put in this thing by far. Maybe just a trickle of air. Instructions said to remove the cover from the air filter, which we did. I even took the filter completely out and the air was still extremely weak! This product is a piece of junk! Do not purchase this. Save your money.

Does not work. Just blows air and leaked water. Actually the money paid should be refunded. Since I ordered this for my son temporarily staying at a school’s dorm, we couldn’t refund. Amazon should not allow these kind of products selling on their platform. It is 1 star, because there is no less. It does not even deserve 1 star.

Absolutely did not throw any cool air. Pretty much no air at all. I got a 2nd one to replace my 1st because I thought maybe it was broken but both worked exactly the same. I highly do not recommend.

Even on the highest setting, the fan is weak. Doesn’t cool at all. Complete waste of money and time trying to get this to work. Also the packaging. It looks like this item had already been returned.

it does'nt work at all, believe me , you only feel a little chill if you stick your face about 1/2 inch close to it , total scam.
