Exactly what my son needed for his first band class. This xylophone works well and packs up nicely to slide under his bed and be put away for storage when hes not practicing. He enjoys using his xylophone when not practicing his drums. Will be passed to our next child for band as well. Very good quality and price point is right on. Would highly recommend!

Really nice sound for beginners. It’s portable and it has all you need.

I purchased this for my son who’s an 8th grade percussion student. The sound quality is great, and it comes with a few songs to play as well. I took away one star because one of the keys is missing the pad on one side which makes it lay flat vs sit up slightly. Overall good value for the price.

I think for the money it's good, it's obviously not a professional sound, I just got it to learn how to use it, then later will get a better one
