So much easier to use than edging that requires a trench be dug. I do use additional spikes to help hold it in place, but that may just be my personal preference. Makes a nice border around walkways and flower beds. Holds up nicely to weed eater use. Reasonably priced. Easy to bend into any shape. Best border material in my opinion.

The edging was flexible but not what I would call sturdy. It would not hold its shape. The stakes were all attached to each other and did not break away cleanly which made them difficult to drive into the ground. They did not support the edging sufficiently to keep it straight making the final result wavy between stakes. I was disappointed with the product.

Looks great! Perfect for around our trees and our free form landscaping borders. We did lay it out flat end to end and leave it in the sun for several hours as another review had suggested and this made it very very easy to work with. Seemed like it expanded slightly too as the rocks moved where we held down the edges. I also used it in just a few corners and it was very easy for me to get a right angle by estimating where I wanted that angle, folding it closer to its self, adjusting that fold over as I went so the crisp edge was where I wanted, then I simply gradually applied light pressure by stepping on it to get the corner exactly where I wanted it to be. My husband used a hack saw to cut it to the size needed right in the ground where he wanted the end to be. Recommend applying stakes about every 8-10 INCHES, and at bends and areas where curves are extreme.

I did not use this as lawn edging. I attached it to my gates with self taping metal screws to seal the area around the gate to keep rattlesnakes out. Before I did this I had to dispatch about 2 rattlesnakes a year.
