Do these work for ethernet data over CAT 5 like from a router to a laptop?

These are for use with cctv cameras, they allow cat5 cable to be used for picture and power transmission instead of the bulkier coaxial and a separate power cable.

These are connections if you have bnc and rj45 then they can connect to any device. I used mine for rj45 camera to connect to bnc hard drive
