Birds Choice SNSC Platform Feeder, Recycled Pole Mount Seed Catcher Platform w/ Two Removable Seed Trays, Medium, Taupe

I have another of these trays purchased from Wild Birds Unlimited from years past and wanted another. All my feeders are made from recycled plastic and I love the durability and making only one purchase. This tray does the job, but doesn't quite measure up to my first tray. I had to purchase a flange, which I screwed onto the bottom. Then purchased a 12 inch piece of pipe, which screwed into the flange. I put a pipe into the ground, then the tray with extended pipe slid into the ground pipe. The tray is easy to clean, but they don't fit snugly like the other tray. I have had some very windy days and occasionally one tray gets dislodged. I am happy with this tray overall, and it allows me to hang at least four other types of feeders from each of the corners. The tray is not ready to go and having some knowledge about making it work for you is helpful.

This is a nice feeder, but is suitable for platform use only. I was under the impression (confirmed by seller) that you could order the "matching" resin leg kit and transform into a ground level feeder. Unfortunately, the resin feeder is not pre-drilled for any leg mounting whatsoever, and the resin is too tough to simply screw on the matching legs. The screws stripped within seconds of effort.I was also disappointed that the seller charged me full freight for each item (bird feeder and leg set) as if they were shipped independently, but then shipped both in one package at a minor (if any) incremental charge over shipping the feeder alone.

I like the feed made by recycle plastic which will not rot under wet weather condition. But I made two modifications for the feeder: 1. Move screen platform about 1 inch higher so I can see small birds eating inside; 2. Fix two screens on the feeder so wind cannot blow them away.

Does not include a flange to mount to your bird feeder pole. Really hard to feed the birds without being able to mount it to the pole.

Excellent quality product and exactly what I was looking for. Easily catches seed & feeds other birds at the same time. Easy to clean.

I like that the feeder is made from recycled plastic, but the trays should be aluminum or stainless steel so they won’t rust.

This is a bit expensive but worth the price. It's rugged and easy to clean. Attaches very easily
