Great So Far - Will Update Going Forward
This replaced an OEP replacement ignition coil in a 94 C1500 with 350, 5.7 Liter engine. I am going to try an provide updates ever so often as some people are saying this is a fantastic drop-in replacement and others are saying it made no difference or stopped working early.I have had this truck for going on 24 years now. It is no longer my daily driver but I still use it frequently and am very sensitive to any changes in performance. I noticed the the difference in the ignition coil almost immediately. At neighborhood speeds, it felt fuller or peppier with "umph" behind it. I'm not sure if that is due to added combustion from the advanced coil or just from replacing the older coil which had a year or 2 of use behind it already.Either way, it was a noticeable bump and once I got it out on the interstate and was able to dog the hell out of it for a bit, I can say that the engine feels more powerful while accelerating. There used to be a bit of a delay between flooring the gas pedal and speed picking up. The delay is gone now and there is a pretty seamless transition between opening up the throttle and the engine rev translating into acceleration.Again, it may be in minimal but I have put enough miles on the truck to say that it is undeniable all the same.Another thing I noticed and will update shortly is the gas mileage. I have never gotten more than 9 1/2 MPG in this truck. I have tweaked and fiddled with every mod under the sun and listened to people with the same engine claim to get into the mid-teens but with the windows up, AC on and a mixture of highway/city miles my mileage has always been at 9.5mpg. With the windows down, AC off and the same mixture of miles, 9.5 is where I have been caped at since buying this truck in the 90'sAt last fill-up, I was sitting at 12.75 MPG, which surprised me enough to question my calculations and run the numbers again. If it turns out that this $50 coil has been what's been killing my performance and mileage after spending year upon years tinkering with everything under the hood trying to improve the mileage, I will be dumbfounded. So I have decided to run a total of 3 tanks thorough the engine with normal driving habits (not flooring it or hauling trailers) and then come back to update the review and average my MPG across 3 intentional runs.I have replaced the ignition coil before when doing tune-ups but I have always replaced it with an exact OEM coil. This is the first time I have gone with a higher voltage coil.TL,DR review - Noticed an immediate improvement in engine performance in a Chevy 5.7 liter TBI engine and will return with MPG numbers shortly. Otherwise, I am very pleased with the upgrade.Update After Several Weeks: The truck runs better than ever and I have had a chance to average the gas mileage across several tanks now. I am between 12.25 and 12.5 MPG consistently. It blows my mind that years of battling low fuel mileage and tinkering with everything under the hood did nothing but adding this single coil offered almost a 33% boost in mileage but the numbers don’t lie, I reckon. As stated above, I’ve had the truck well over 20 years and have charted my mileage since I purchased it on pen and paper and have never gotten over 9.5/10mpg until swapping out the ignition coil.I’ll update this review again as things go on

It works great!
Relatively easy to install and well worth the extra money. It really gave my old motor new life and nice 3rd gear punch!

Bought along with an ignition module for a quick, easy upgrade to my Trans Am. Would definitely recommend upgrading the cap and rotor while you're at it!

Hmmmm
So far this product meets my expectations I bought it and installed it on my 93 Chevy c1500 5.0 and I could tell a big difference I mean I’ve been adding bolt on stuff for extra hp but I feel like this really woke that 5.0 up ……..update …… garbage this thing made my truck misfire and run like crap within a month it does make a difference in the way the truck performs but they’re just made from garbage put the original one back on and my truck ran fine

Good performance coil at a great price!
I am using this on my 1994 Chevy C2500 5.7L 350, so far, it's worked great! I have it hooked up to an MSD CDI running into the stock ignition module and have not had any problems. This coil is too hot for stock plug wires so I've got set of MSD Super Conductor 8.5mm which have very good resistance properties and can handle as much juice as I can push through them. I'm using Accel U-Groove Shorty plugs designed for header clearance. This coil gave my truck faster starts, smoother idle, and better throttle response. Hope it lasts a long time!

Great replacment coil.
Dont know if my stock coil was getting weak, wanted to do some MPG improvements and thought I would start with this. Just got around to installing it 2 days ago and it does run better, not night and day, but seems to be a bit more torquey. MPG is up about 1 MPG on a 250 mile trip I recently took (this is in a 1995 Tahoe 2wd with a TBI 350). I was pretty hard on the truck the last 1/2 of the trip, and the truck had an extra 1000 pounds more than normal cargo. Overall I am pretty impressed, the coil I recieved had a brass terminal, 4 bolts/ nuts, and 2 straps I guess to fit several different applications. Would buy again, and will if I ever need one......

Easier start ups...
I knew installing the Coil without doing the other necessary upgrades would not yield the result's I was looking for so I did the Ignition module plugs & Zero Ohm wire's , My Accel ignition module for the GM HEI external burnt out in 8 month's . good thing I kept the OEM in the glove box , But the upgrades cut about a 20 dollar bill off my fuel cost from 140 weekly ..But the short life of the nearly 50 dollar control module took care of my saving's ..
