All you will need
This is wonderful!!! I have already used it for my 1st set of eggs started with 11 ended up hatching 7. Very easy to use, the light is very bright and the 2 size egg holder thingy... makes it great for different size eggs.I will absolutly buy another one if anything happens to mine.

Works good on brown colored eggs and huge goose eggs.
One star off for short length of the cord. I have an outlet in the light socket fixture in the duck house. I plugged this product in there to candle some eggs my female Chinese goose had been laying on for 2-3 weeks. I was doing each egg at a time after grabbing each one from under her. I would have liked for the cord to be maybe 12" longer for my purpose to make it easier to maneuver in the aforementioned scenario. I dislike battery operated devices b/c of the need to replace/recharge them. I thought this plug in device would be great. It's almost perfect except the cord length. Be prepared or use a extension cord.

Eggcellent Light!
Was able to view my 13 day old chicks in the eggs & see that all 6 of them were alive!

Works just not great
This is good for white or light-colored eggs. Dark eggs this is not near powerful enough to use.

Perfect for beginners!
So much easier to use than a regular flashlight, which is what I tried with my first batch of eggs. The photo is from day 7 and I can see all eggs clearly- even the brown ones. Can’t wait to see what it looks like when it gets closer to hatch time. Good bang for your buck!

It works great!!
Works great!! Wish I’d had this with my duck eggs. It’s still a bit hard to candle the Black Maren eggs because of how dark they are! Would buy again!!
