This is an exceedingly well detailed kit consisting of many plastic parts and brass stampings. If you are looking for the ship, it's not there. You will have to purchase that separately. Both Acadmy and Trumpter make excellent models of the USS Indianapolis. This is a true model project and not for the beginner or the faint of heart, The fact that the Pontos detail kit is four times as expensive as the ship models should give you an idea of just how much detail (and work) is involved. Patience is required. Quite frankly, I'm looking forward to this project!
