This is a good product to add to a tool, tackle box, or backpack for the little nicks that keeps bleeding. Just clean the nick well, dampen one of the sticks and apply.

They are great for razor necks been helping out my husband and it’s also good for minor cuts on your fingers or toes or anywhere else so it’s nice to have a big batch of them cause they are hard to find anymore

What is especially nice in this version of the classic styptic pencil is the attached-to-top design of the pencil that comes out of the cover cleanly and easily re-inserts. This keeps the relatively fragile pencil intact longer in whatever drawer or travel case you happen to carry it in. I expect it will eventually become dried out and break, but this cover system is superior. I hope it lasts. I've only had them a month and they are OK so far with only light use and limited travel.

Product works very well. Really like that the sticks are for individual use, eliminating using a stick with previous blood on it. Set in “matchbook” style which makes it easy for travel. Will definitely buy these again.

I've used the matches for years and it is by far the best product to stop nicks and cuts. The stick is the best on the market but needs to be wider. It breaks easily. This I have read is a common complaint. This is a great styptic stick that needs improvement. That's why I only gave it 3 stars.
