I am on blood thinners and an anticoagulant. I bleed easily and it is sometimes difficult to stop the bleeding. These are a real life saver. You get a lot of styptic pencils for the money. And you can use each "matchstick" multiple times if you are careful.

These are like little match sticks that stop bleeding fast. Do they work? Yes. However, there are other options that are easier to use if you ask me. I have decided the Nick Stick works just as well and is far simpler. These have to be wetted and take a moment to work. They come in a matchbook style package, so you need to be careful about getting the packaging wet. If you rub it along the cut, the stuff that stops tue bleeding will sometimes crumble off. Nick Stick comes in a plastic container that can get wet. It has a roller on the tip so you just rub it around the cut area with any pre wetting. It’s about the size of chap stick vs these book of matches. No thank you… these work, but are far less convenient then other options

Hubby loves these. Much easier to deal with than the old sticks that broke, and looked grossaftera few uses.
