Amazing
Fantastic book — took less than a day to read and it has me feeling like a pro. Very objective and scientific approach. One of the most helpful books I’ve ever read.

Great and straight to the point
I gave this book a 5 star because I am a novice and have no experience in the tech world sort of like a dinosaur of the new tech ageTo my surprise I finished the book in 2 days understood and started using many of the tech words I learned in the book and now have a clear idea of how to move forward with my App business event hough I had no previous knowledge of this business. The book is straight forward it gives you tons of info and it does not gives hopes on becoming a millionaire on the contrary it opens your eyes into being prepared for a real uphill journey which to me is priceless as an entrepreneur. Thank you and God bless you Alex.

Very informative for whoever starting an app business
The book covers "how to start an app business and generate downloads" rather than ASO only.cons1. it is not treating app marketing only, it touches other important areas as whether you should start with android or ios when budget is tight.2. I wonder if there's a way of measuring the output after you improve your onsite ASO (app description and such) but the book doesn't mention how to measure them or even if it's possible to measure (I guess it's because there's no way to measure but.. still.good to be explicit)pros1. As a developer/service owner myself for over 5 years, I could feel that he is really telling what he've experienced, and I believe it is very informative to whoever 's in the early stage of doing app business2. very easy to read and gives explicit strategy you can implement and the reason why the author believes that it's going to work.I would definately recommend the book if someone wants to start an app business

Very good introduction that covers almost all aspects
This books introduces you with the theory of how difficult it is to build your own app. Either be a developer or find a developer partner or forget about it, because getting an app built is going to take tens and thousands of dollars. I was a little disappointed by that, although that may very well be true. The marketing and monetizing strategies mentioned are definitely good for the beginners, but you won't find any novel techniques here. Overall a good basic app marketing and monetizing book. I would recommend this for beginners.Update:I finished the book and I read other resources and have found that this book covers a lot about app mobile and the concepts that i see other people use quite successfully. So I am definitely happy with all the information that was provided. I am subscribed to an online service and I just attended a webinar on it. The webinar was designed to help us make better decisions on a certain field that this service relates to. At the end the person tried to sell his guided coursework. So it seems many of the things discussed in this book are very commonly used by successful businesses these days. Thank you Alex

Well Worth The Read
A concise well-written overview of the challenges a small business developer faces when trying to find an audience for an app in the stores. The manuscript is perfect for a beginner who needs guidance. There are some intermediate and advanced strategies too. The details of many of the marketing tactics are the highlight of this book. If you are a developer, you’ll have to look elsewhere for coding advice, as this author recommends that you learn coding to save money on outsourcing fees. Most of the app store optimization strategies discussed are still current in 2017. Genadinik covers both the Apple App Store and Google Play although he is primarily experienced with Android. App pricing models are examined. Mobile App Marketing and Monetization is a fast read. It is well worth it for exposure to the tips you may not be aware of.

A very large discourse that could be summarized in 10 pages
It took me like 2 days to read all the book, not because of the extension, but for the repeating subjects that made me think that I was lost within the chapters. All the information can get summarized in a easy mental map of 4 branches and 2 levels deep. I had pay double just for the 10 pages and get metal mapAuthor explain the same thing 4 times every chapter. Boring. The last part offers links to keep purchasing. He applies the in-sales technique in its own book. Sad!

Excellent Primer for First Time App Entrepreneurs
Being an app entrepreneur (or any kind of entrepreneur, really) is both the most exciting and stressful thing I've ever experienced. As I recently launched my first app, I wanted to get a book that would introduce me to some ideas on how to market and monetize my app. Alex's book was exactly that. The book goes deep into several ways you can start marketing your app and gives you many great tips into ASO (App Store Optimization), which is probably the most fundamental marketing tool you should invest in.It also made some recommendations of how to do keyword research and even which tools to use. I'm currently implementing his strategies and learning more, which I'm confident will give me a boost in the App Store.Overall, the book is a great introduction into the app world and I fully recommend it!Lastly, Alex is very responsive and we have exchanged a couple of emails already. You can tell he really cares about his readers/Udemy students.Get this book if you are an app entrepreneur!
