Duofold Men's Mid-Weight Varitherm Thermal Pant

I took up cycling again (after a LONG hiatus) back in August. I was looking for something other than cycling tights (since the thought of me in tights is the stuff nightmares are made of) and ran across these-so thought I would give 'em a try. They were quite a bit cheaper than the "buy us for cycling" products also -a huge bonus since I'm a cheapskate and refuse to pay $$$$ for something made "for cycling" if I can do the job for 1/2 that price (or less)I rode out in them for the first time a few days ago-layered them between my padded short liners and my cargo shorts. It was about 39 degrees out w/ wind chill into the high 20's to low 30's. My legs were warm the entire ride, did NOT get all sweaty-and I was entirely comfortable the whole time-into the wind, away from the wind, going downhill and creating my own wind...all was good. In fact they're good enough that ordered another pair...and the matching tops as well.VERY good product. My guess is they'll work for me down to about my "minimum ride temperature" (which is around 35 since I have a horror of hitting an icy spot).If you (like me) are an "I ride for fun/fitness/to lose weight" kind of person-give these a try. They'll let you keep riding longer into colder weather-at a relatively inexpensive price.

Finally! A brand/type that fit. I will purchase these only from here on out. They are not overly thick, but fit as UNDERWEAR should up top, and very comfy all the way down. They are shorter than depicted- for me, coming up a few inches before my ankles, but that's fine. I wanted them as an underlayer to wear around the house under my sweatpants. I would definitely use them under my ski pants. On very cold days my house heat can't keep up, and these are perfect. Imagine your best fitting, most comfortable pair of normal underwear just grew legs, and you have THESE! Perfect! I ordered size LARGE, just hoping to get the whole waist-top portion correct, and I nailed it. I am 6'5", about 212lbs, and I wear pants in the size of 36x36. I do fluctuate to a 38" waist at times, going up in weight to maybe 230, and I see these still fitting. Just don't expect to get the length in the picture if you have long legs. I did order a different pair of Duofold's- they were NOT Varitherm as these are, and I was not as pleased with the way the top fit.

The pants fit as expected. I wore it under my work slacks on my motorcycle ride to work on 15 degree days and it was a welcome layer and sufficient to keep me from freezing. I've also worn it as an outer layer for running in temps in the 40's and it worked for that too. I like it and went to buy another couple sets but Amazon raised the prices on it in the few days it took for me to get the first pair. Supply and demand I guess, but I'm disappointed by the pricing, but not in the duofold pants. Too warm for nightware for home... Maybe if you're camping.

I was looking for affordable tights to wear while running and football training. Compression was really the goal, but I didn't want to pay $50-80 for Nike or UA tights, especially because I needed to buy several pairs to last me through the week. Although I wouldn't fully recommend these to someone looking for full-on compression tights, they are a great low-cost alternative and they accomplish the job I need them for: keeping everything tight and tucked in, serving as a smooth barrier between my thighs to avoid chafing and keeping my leg muscles warm while working out. I can't yet speak of their ability to serve as thermals in very cold weather, but I've been training outside in 70-90 degree weather and while they do keep my leg muscles warm and slightly less sore, they don't make my legs too hot. Based on other reviews, they seem to give nice insulation in the cold, so they appear to be a versatile pair of tights for an ultra low cost. NOTE: I'm 6', 180 lbs and the size small is perfect for a snug fit. I love these tights!

These are quite possibly the most comfortable things I've ever bought. I picked up the shirt to compete the set and wore them for 3 days straight in the high 20s to high 40s doing construction. My co-worker kept complaining how cold he was and all I could think is i feel like I'm sweating but I'm dry. I know what it's like to sweat and be cold and shivering all day it's terrible and painful. These let me sweat and take off my jacket then cool off after about 30 minutes and later back up. Was never cold once. They even took a light rain and repelled the water or so it seemed. Wearing just the shirt and overalls my shoulders and arms stayed dry. I will be buying another pair when they wear out for sure.

I am really skinny so I ordered a Small one and it is like an extra small, I'm trying to convince myself that thermal wear are supposed to be worn in a tight way so that the heat can be conserved in a better way but sometimes it feels too tight, I'm not sure if there are any issues with blood circulation if I keep using them. On the other hand, the package arrived quickly but I am not completely satisfied

For reference, I'm 6'3, about 175 pounds, with longer than average arms & legs. I purchased size M.These pants are great. I ordered one pair about a year ago and they quickly became my favorite, replacing all the waffle-knit cotton thermals that I had for years. The only beef I have with them is that I wish the legs were a bit longer, but I always wear long & thick socks that I pull up over the tights, so it's not a big deal. Ideally, I would buy a size MT, but very few companies actually make that.They have been through countless washings & still look great.Just for kicks, I ordered a size L a little while back and didn't like the fit; they were too loose with no noticeable increase in leg length. I ordered three more in size M.

These feel great and fit good ,they're not as heavy as I'd like but they are REALY comfortable . Good to around 30 degrees .

Después de unos meses de comprarla, lo pienso y creo que pagar más de 400 por ella me parece algo cara, eso sí, no sé cuánto suelen costar este tipo de mallas. Me ha salido resistente, les recomiendo pedir su talla, yo pedí una talla menor (M) a la que suelo usar (L). Pero sólo quedó ajustada, es muy flexible y no se ha roto. Aunque no he corrido con ella o practicado trekking pero para un uso apenas continuo ha salido bien. Se ajusta y pega a las piernas y es medio fría. La compré en Amazon.

These pants are amazing! They're so thin, yet so warm! I've worn them as cycling pants (on their own, not as a base layer beneath shorts or pants) on colder days (not winter cold, more like early spring cold: 5c-12c).Didn't overheat nor got too cold. They also stay dry inside and out, even if doing high intensity exercising (the kind where you sweat). Also there is no smell afterwards.

Es muy comodo, no deja marcas en los tobillos, se ajusta perfectaente al cuerpo, no se encoje al lavarlo. Me fue muy funcional para clima frio.
