Nice for drinking wine on the deck in summer
It looks nice and is good quality, keeping already chilled wine cool. I have given these for gifts, which have been well received.

Wine Cooler Bucket that actually works well
Wine cooling bucket by Oggi is a good product. After viewing the results of comparison and performance tests on America's Test Kitchen TV show, where Oggi bucket was chosen as the "winner", I decided to give it my personal performance test; it keeps a cold bottle of wine cool for a reasonable period of time. Starting with frozen inserts and a cold bottle wine, the temperature at the bottom of the bucket begins at about 38 degrees Fahrenheit and then steadily increases to ambient temperature as time goes by.The only negative that I have experienced is regarding the colling inserts. Wanting a spare set of inserts, I contacted Oggi so as to purchase; while the cost of inserts was reasonable, the shipping fee was so high as to make the entire "package" not cost-effective.I have tried alternative methods of keeping a bottle cold, including the conventional ice in a bucket; this insert method of much better. If your requirement is keeping your bottled beverage cool, then this bucket is worth your consideration.Update - I'm back after 1 year of regularly using the Oggi wine cooler with freezable inserts. The negative issue is that the inserts have somehow lost the internal liquid that is supposed to freeze. I now have 3 empty inserts. No idea how they became empty or where the liquid went; they didn't appear to be leaking. Now I'm stuck with just a bucket which I am using with ice to keep chilled wine and beer bottles, albeit now with the messy wet bottles that the inserts was suppose to "fix".

Best Cooler We've Owned Yet
This is a definite must-have for wine lovers. Easy to assemble and take apart, keeps the wine nice and cool and best yet, NO ICE to mess around with, the bottle is cold and doesn't drip all over you when you pour more...the inside parts (there are 3) go into the freezer (they are made of thick sturdy plastic type material) just like an ice pack for your lunch box, then slip nicely into the outer holder. When properly (and easily) put together, holds the wine bottle snuggly, even fits the larger (fatter) bottles of sparkling/champagne type wine. If you like relaxing with your wine and not dripping and getting up and down, this will work great for you, especially by the pool!

can use icy's also
I agree with the fellow who said the inner lining next to the bottle should be the cold part, or I suggest a metal innermost part that would conduct the cold, but given that it does work even for the typical champagne bottle size. I cut a sectioned icy blanket type to circle inside the container (plastic parts removed, so just the empty holder). I shaped it around an empty bottle, froze it into the rounded shape, and then put it into the serving can and put the bottle inside, which kept the champagne nice and cold for longer (travel).

Chilled wine perfectly!
Used to keep white wine chilled during a dinner party! Worked perfectly! Much easier to use than ice!

Maintains an Even Cold Temp
Did temperature checks when I opened my Sauvignon Blanc & then every 30 minutes for 2 hours. It stayed a perfect 47 degrees for the full 2 hours. The test was done indoors so there may be less consistency outdoors on a hot day. Doubt that most folks expect their bottle of wine to last 2 hours, either indoor or out.Another bonus - no drippy mess that occurs when using an ice bucket. I always keep the cold packs in my freezer & they are ready when needed.

it's summer, a bottle of rosé is calling, this is the answer
America's Test Kitchen rated this as the top wine chiller, & they did not steer me wrong. While I love a vintage silver champagne bucket for chilling my wine, that old-fashioned thing is inefficient & messy. Enter the Oggi, sleek & modern with removable chill packs that I leave in my freezer all week long. When the weekend comes & it's time to kick back in the patio with a bottle of rosé or white wine, I pop the chill packs inside the Oggi Wine Cooler. In goes the chilled wine bottle & it stays beautifully chilled for the hour or two it takes for a friend & I to drink it. No condensation mess, no ice cube fuss. When the wine is gone, I just stick the chill packs back in the freezer for the next time. Perfection! Maybe I'll put flowers in the vintage silver bucket?

We've tried many chillers, this is the best hands down
We've tried many chillers, this is the best hands down. You can use 2 of the inserts for red in the summer & all 4 for white wine. We have a few so we always have a few backup cold inserts in the freezer when we need it. No more freezing the marble chiller to your hand getting it outside, just to have it warm up in 10 minutes. We've had these all summer, they work great and hold up well. The inserts are small and don't take up much room in the freezer at all. They do sweat a little, but nothing compared to the marble chillers we used in the past. They keep wine at a much better temp than the 4-5 double walled plastic versions we've had over the years. It's plenty wide for any bottle we've used it for, including Pinot & chardonnay. We did have to pull out the liner to fit the 1.5L double sized bottle of wine, but it did fit & kept it at a nice temp.I read one review that wasn't happy about the way it was built, we're thrilled with it. If you're a wine drinker it's the best twenty something bucks you'll spend. These are so great we just ordered 3 more for Christmas gifts, I would recommend them to any occasional or every day wine drinkers like us.
