Very good controller, specially for it's price
At the beginning it feels small compared to the official controller, but you quickly adpat to it, and the material feels also of really good quality. Perhaps the only thing that is a problem for me is that the joysticks are a little small. But in overall is pretty good.

Excellent controller with an unfortunate flaw.
This controller is really, kind of confusing. It has excellent build quality. In feel, appearance. The buttons are some of the best I've ever felt. Awesome triggers. Great layout. It's such a well made, solid controller that it honestly BAFFLES me... That NACON would make such a well constructed device, in such a beautiful packaging, and pair it with perhaps one of the worst D-Pads I've ever seen. Like, cheap knockoffs here on Amazon don't have D-Pads that are this bad. It has an audio out port with good amperage, a great pair of analog sticks. It genuinely makes zero sense. That they could basically make a nearly perfect compact controller and pair it with a D-pad where you can hit LEFT and RIGHT whole HOLDING DOWN. Why? Why would you, go through the trouble of having an assembly line construct this product, package it, when you have to know right off the product line just testing the controller out that the design is completely faulty. Why would you release a nearly perfect product with an 8-Way Directional pad where you can input the left and right switch while the bottom switch is depressed. This shouldn't be possible in am officially licenced product. All you had to do was isolate the d-pad buttons like literally every other Sony controller. Just make them individual buttons like you did the other side of the controller. It would have been perfect. This controller is a solid 3-4 star as a result... Which is wild to me as it's possibly the second best controller in it's price range beneath the original gamepad without reaching it's heights. For its price, it's excellent. I'm just kind of shocked at the lack of care here from Nacon. They just literally shrugged and let this go to production like this when they were so close to basically being the best for almost no additional effort.

Great controller for the price
So I have twin 5 year old boys that love video games. They love Mario but enjoy playing Daddys PS4. Only problem they kept ripping the charging cords out of all 3 of my cotrollers when they got excited. Needless to say they're no good now and wont charge. Thus wired controllers sounded like a better idea. They have a nice long cord, they're actually more comfortable then the original Ps4 controllers, and they're very durable. Love em, want another now!!

Not great if you do bumper/trigger rock
I did get this because I do have smaller hands. I immediately noticed the difference between it and wireless-- was pleasantly surprised was that apparent right off. Issue for me is it doesn't suit playing style I use in several games. The bumpers and triggers have enough of a gap, that (with smaller hands fingers) makes an awkward little jump if using just index finger. If using index on bumper, and middle on trigger the set-up is such where the trigger is in spot where middle finger position is more forward than the index finger. It places hands in weird sort of claw position that feels incredibly counter-intuitive. To note vs Dual Shock: The thumb sticks are simple concave one piece tops and L3 feels a bit more finicky. The D-pad is a little slippy. It's easier to trip & had some initial errors, but once I adjusted I found it to be faster and smoother than DS for me. Most button operations in general are great and feel hair smoother, except for bumper/trigger, which bit more 'clicky'. This definitely doesn't feel like it'll become my go-to controller, but I'm going to experiment a bit to see if might work for me with some games and if playing style can be adapted for some others, because overall, it's a nice little unit.

Wow
All right first things first you would expect the controller to be crappy for $49 You would be wrong I was I have bought many controllers from Amazon as a substitute for the dual shock. I have search long and hard for a good substitute and this guy is the best First thing you can always tell a crappy controller is the headphone jack doesn’t sound good I’m playing FPS is you know what I’m talking about As far as the Joy stick there’s no lag feels like a dual shock The texture on the controller is way better than the dual shock All in all a 9 triggers are a little to shiny no grip But best controller out there for the money

Would not recommend at all! Bad quality, did not last more than 1 month
Bad quality controller, did not even last 1 month. Left joystick stopped working and right trigger is always active without even pressing it. Very disappointed.

Great controller with minor drawbacks
I enjoy using this controller. It feels pretty comfortable to hold, and with the long cable you can sit back on the couch without having to hold it outward. Sticks are accurate, no issues with them. Triggers are very linear, so playing racing games is decently enjoyable on this controller. It doesn’t have any built-in motion sensors, so keep that in mind. I have two minor gripes with it though. The biggest one is that when you’re using a headset, your microphone volume will be quieter than a standard ps4 controller, so you might have to turn up the mic volume for friends to hear. The other one is that the vibration motors seem to have two settings: on or off. Playing games that fully utilize vibration to give you as much information as possible, like racing sims, won’t feel very satisfying to play. Other than that, I have no major complaints with this controller. It is a well-built, well-rounded controller.

the L3 stopped working after just two weeks, and I barely even used it. I can still move around in games, but I can't click it down, which is annoying.

Only downfall is when I connect it to my pc it reads as a PlayStation 3 controller

This is hands down one of the best wired controllers I have used for the PS4 system Personally I am not a fan of wireless controller because of having to constantly charge them up after long gaming sessions After been doubtful about buying a corded controller....I would now ever buy a wireless one.. I love this range of controller so much that now have a collection of red blue black and orange The matte black rubbery plastic feel of the back of the controller is great.....feels great on the hands.....also the sticks both have a dip into it....so your thumbs don't slip off....(something Sony should have thought about units fourth installment of the dual shock) Also the touch button is very kool and sensitive....the design is very kool specific ally when you shine the light at an angle and see the detail work on the touch pad of the legendary triangle circle square and X... Finally the shoulder buttons and triggers are and feel very comfortable The best thing I find with this controller apart from all othe points listed above is the price....at such a bargain specially cause its not as expensive as the wireless one and also the fact that there is complete natant charge and not have the reason to pause gaming just to charge up your controller In a nutshell if you are big on wired controller I would suggest and recommend this one purely cause of the value for money for such a wicked brand
