My wife and I had a tough time finding the ideal tie backs for our custom Chocolate/Tan curtains. Then we searched Amazon – Amazon to the rescue!Handiwork is amazing. Beautifully finished and well made!!! incredible price for the quality of product.I am impressed by the quality of these tiebacks. They large and are at a perfect thickness for the weight of my curtains, not too shiny, not too matte – just right. They should last us for years.The pictures don't do these tiebacks justice. From the image online, I did not expect these to be as nice as they are in person.Fast shipping, very pleased!

These things are AWESOME. I was doing a DIY project, converting a covered patio into a 'cabana'; added outdoor drapes, made curtain rods out of gas piping, tie-back attachments out of marine mooring cleats. Wanted classic looking thick rope tie-backs. Upscale places wanted $50 to $90 PER ROPE (granted, rope not linen, with metal end attachments). I looked at building my own out of raw rope lengths, but then I spotted these so ordered a few to check them out. Was skeptical they could be the size they listed, or a decent quality, given the price. They are GREAT. Big, hefty, solid. Ended up buying 16 pairs in total, including some to have on hand for spares. Easy enough to throw a galvanized or stainless snaplink on the end of you want, but I use them as-is, looped over a mooring cleat mounted horizontally.

Although I read the description, I was was still a little surprised at how fat the cord was and how sturdy the material.Still works great - and quality should hold up for years. If you want t 'limp' rope, look at another type - but if you want a very strong, sturdy, quality cord, this will be fine.

I really liked these tiebacks. The have a very thick. I have bought tiebacks in this price range from local bricks and mortar stores and they are usually fairly flimsy and thin. I looked at the pics of these and thought they would be fairly thin. I was ok with thin flimsy tiebacks for the most part. I was more than impressed when I opened these and saw the diameter of the rope, the feel of it, and the quality of the materials. This adds a nice elegant look to the living room curtains. This was a terrific buy.

These are great. They are much thicker than the picture, just be aware. I got these for my outdoor patio drapes as I live in Florida and we get winds all of the time. They are holding my drapes in place and look great!

Update 1 yr later: unfortunately the loops have broken and come undone. I guess for $14 I didn't expect them to last a lifetime but I thought they'd have held up more than 12 months, hence my change to 3 stars from 5.These arrived exactly as pictured & have worked great! So far they've withstood a summer of monsoon storms & still look brand new.

We have several large windows so have 4 tie-backs per window - had a hard time finding sturdy yet Beautiful - these were perfect! We use sheer coverings in the spring/summer and heavier in the fall winter as we are MidWest and these have worked perfect for both types of fabric and weight. LOVE THEM !!!

I ordered these to hold back some stock linen drapes I ordered from restoration hardware for my sunroom. They're perfect. I did not want the metal loops or hooks-type hold-backs. These are ivory and quite pretty. So I ordered more to use on on raw silk drapes in the dining room. They transitioned beautifully from casual to more formal usage. I must say I am delighted. What a good purchase at a great price!
