BerkleyGulp! Alive! Minnow Fishing Soft Bait

This is one of my main baits. I fish mostly with ultralight equipment. My setup is a 6' St. Croix ultralight fast action rod, Cadence CS5 reel, usually a 1/64 oz jig, four pound test line, and these 1" Gulp minnows. You catch everything with this bait. Bluegill, shellcracker, crappie, bass, and I've even caught a catfish or two (which I do not like to do on an ultralight rod). But be sure you are ordering the jar. I haven't counted but it looks to be about a 25 or 30 minnows, where as the package will have maybe 10. Though the baits are wonderful, they are very soft and one will not last a long time. After 4 or 5 fish, or even one very aggressive bite, the minnow will tear. Just flip it over, rehook it, and it will last a few more fish. The softness is what, imho, makes them a great bait.

I've caught more fish this summer than I have in my whole life using these. I've caught catfish, bass, bluegill, crappie, skipjack, warmouth, and more using these.I've used these in creeks, rivers, lakes, ponds, and in clear, stained, and muddy water with success.You will catch big fish and small fish alike with these, so these may not be the best if you're only trying to catch hogs.I generally use a size 8 Aberdeen hook and a 1/32nd oz bullet weight to fish these but I've heard of other methods that may work better.These come in a jar which contains about 40-50 minnows.

Took this out fishing for blue gill and crappie.. The fish responded well when the minnow drops. I kept catching a lot of fish and was even surprised at the number of small baby large mouth bass that kept hitting it. The minnows will last a while, but after a few catches they will be ripped up some.Pro: Life like Good action while going down Lasts a while Lots in the container Catches fish

We use these to catch sunfish, bluegill and specs on the local lake. The minnow stays on for several fish and the fish love these! We don't buy bait anymore and my hands stay clean too putting these on the hook. It saves money vs. buying real bait in the store.

This product is great for putting on spinners or jigging thru the ice. Not good if you just let it sit their like a live minnow on a plain hook.

Killer. Used for tipping vertical jigging setups for walleye or just plain hook and bobber rigs for kids. Dont leave on hook when done...dries up like jerky
