The battery cca load tester was received in a timely manner, and it performed perfectly. The instructions were easy to read and understand, except for one small issue...when it came to a point where I was asked to scroll up or down to select the "desired number", the instructions did not clearly explain what number they were asking for. I soon understood on my own that they must need me to enter the Cold Cranking Amps as listed plainly on the top of the battery. Once I understood that, and entered the number, I was off and running. I have 5 marine batteries that I needed to test. I found that two of the batteries failed the test even though they were charged and reading about 13 volts. Those batteries will be properly disposed, and I now can use the remaining 3 with confidence. I highly recommend the eOUTIL 12V Car Battery Tester, Auto Battery Load Analyzer with LCD Display.

I use this to monitor the status of batteries for my watercraft and emergency generator. It has been reliable and saved me from having to replace either battery. I found it to be easy to use and uncomplicated.

I have had this for a little under 4 months and it has died on me. It worked great until a couple days ago when the screen started blinking an empty battery. The battery was 3/4 full the night before and I didn't have anything plugged into it overnight. I disconnected everything and checked each item. The solar panel was fine and the battery was showing an almost full charge. I connected everything again and things were fine for a day and the same problem occurred. I will keep it at 2 stars until I get a response from the company for a replacement.I have updated this from 2 stars to 3 because I was contacted by ALLPOWERS and they emailed saying that they would send out a replacement. I will update again after receiving the replacement and hooking it up to my system.I have received the replacement and my system is working again. I have updated my review to reflect the working item and customer support provided by ALLPOWERS.

This instrument does exactly what I hoped it would. It analyzes a 12 volt battery's overall condition and reveals problems so you know if you need a new battery or not. Very easy to use and works very well. Very useful if you like to do some easy car repairs yourself.

Well it wasn't for me it was a gift for a friend so I can't say very much I only seen it in action one time and it seems easy enough to use and operate ! Thank you !

Works great for testing12 v sealed lead acid batteries that are used in alarm, security, UPS, and telecommunications systems. Unlike other load testers this can test batteries less than 100 CCA. Just convert the Ah rating of the battery you are testing to CCA by multiplying by 7.25. Round the number to the nearest 5 CCA and use this to test the battery. The only setback is that you have to reenter the CCA each time you test. There is no memory but it only becomes an issue when testing a lot of batteries at one time.

There is much to like about this little tester. I purchased it to test sealed lead acid batteries for battery backups. This unit was suitable as it allowed me to enter the Amp Hour (AH) rating instead of CCA which is common to many other models.The case design is rugged and easy to hold. The cables are well made and I particularly liked the shrouded clips that prevent shorting at the terminals. The LCD display was nice and bright. I really liked the ease of use -- just push a few buttons to set the AH then test away. The unit remembered the AH settings from battery to battery so I didn't have to push too many buttons to get repeat tests. I found this to be very convenient.Alas, there was a defect in the unit and the second line of the LCD was not legible. Still I was able to eke out a few readings that looked on target, so I can't assess the accuracy and function of the unit which is too bad and I returned the unit for a refund.I was tempted to purchase this unit again and try it out but I found a different design that suited my purpose a bit better. Still this is a nifty little tester that is worth a try.

It gave me the information I needed quickly and measured accurately to more expensive equipment. Please note, however, that it has no internal battery. It the battery under test is completely destroyed (i.e. open or dead short) it will not work. The instructions will not mention this concern. A good multimeter, therefore, is a great companion tool.Make sure your read the instructions.
