Perfect and safe
The wood is pine, so it's not too hard for a medium chewer like an African gray or an Amazon parrot to enjoy. The toys are nice and tall, and on a stainless steel hanger, so you can reuse the stainless steel if you want to, but there is no risk of your bird getting tangled once the wood bits are off. Unlike cotton Rope toys which can pose an obstruction hazard in the gut from eating the cotton bits, the stainless steel hangers don't pose any risk to the pet. There is a tiny loop at the bottom of each toy, my bird's cage is very tall so I was able to hang one from another and create a full meter of chew toy fun.

Mojito loves these!
It took him a while to destroy them... He enjoyed that, and so did I.

My parent loves them but
My parrot loves them but they're a little bit too pricey for a simple wood toy. I'm pretty close to just going out and buying my own wood and cutting it up into pieces.

Great for my purposes
These were for my rats, who love wood toys. Arrived in perfect condition. Immediately pried the bells off--they don't care about noisemakers and I hate them. I just used my fingers to unbend the looped bottom of the central wire, slid the bell off, and curved the wire back into place. If your wire is particularly stiff you may need small pliers.Wood's fine, no odd smells, no splinters, nothing sharp. I wish I knew for certain that the dye was nontoxic, but rats are both sturdy and short-lived, so it's not so much them I'm worried about as potential bird owners. It's not flaky acrylic paint, at least, so that's something. I'm not a huge fan of the style of carabiner on top but that's a personal preference. The toy is a bit on the long side for hanging off the shelf of a Midwest Critter Nation, so I hung it off the top of the cage and set a box on the bottom level for them to perch on. So far my boys have been having a blast gnawing at the wood. Works great for me.

My birds are very happy
I originally bought this for cockatiel but when installing in his cage- my African Grey was fascinated with it. So I put the second one in his cage and he absolutely loves it! I am not sure if design or colors (even though he has been given colored toys many times) but he rarely plays with any hanging toys, he is almost through it in less than a month. I just ordered another pack- even though it didn’t last long for him- he loves it so much I had to,. My cockatiel is very happy with his and his is going to last a long time, but he is loves to sit on it and attack it

Keeps my bird occupied most of the time
My indian ringneck has been working on it for a week. It's just what I needed. He tends to destroy the toys within a day.I used to get them from Petsmart which appears to be for smaller birds. This keeps him occupied every other day.
