These cowrie shells are absolutely BEAUTIFUL! So natural in color ....the white, blanched or painted shells some sell are NOT natural ! They don't even LOOK natural. These, however, DO. The bulges are removed, they're clean, smooth & NO smell whatsoever! AMAZING FIND!!! I'll use a Krylon clear coat gloss spray (thin coat) to preserve them but they seem so naturally durable that's probably not necessary.

I bought this 3 times, the first time it was great, clean shells and nice satin cord. Second time, the shells were less and third time the shells were dirty, not very polished and the cord was different, not stain, not sure what kind of cord it was. But overall they are good for the price.
