I can finally tell my parents I finally found "The One"
First and foremost this is the end all be all of energy bars that give you a great source of compact-quick energy that's at a bargain price and with a clean ingredients list (100% Vegan, Im not vegan myself but I sincerely believe because these bars are vegan they have a huge benefit for the purpose they serve and I explain it below). I'm reviewing on day 5 of trying these things out in the morning before my morning run or my morning laps in the pool and I have to say I am so excited to write a review because finding fast carb-energy sources for endurance training has been a long time problem for me. I try to take in a light meal to not over-encumber my digestion so I can have a relaxed cardio session without GI problems. I've tried yogurts, fruits, protein bars, other energy bars, and with each new thing I always end up with gas or stomach discomfort. With these bars I got:A. Tons of energy, steady flow, no crash.B. Zero, ZERO stomach problems. These things are so light in your stomach for how much energy they pack in it's unreal and unfair that I'm just now discovering them.C. Conversations, yes the packaging is so aesthetic and bright green that it actually works as a fricken conversation starter, a few people asked me what they were and I was happy to share.D. Great flavor. There's three: peanut butter chocolate, dark chocolate cherry, and mango coconut. Peanut Butter Chocolate - is well...Peanut butter chocolate. And coming from a guy who's eaten every peanut butter chocolate protein/energy bar on the market, reading the ingredients list is a breath of fresh air. This bar tastes amazing for how clean the ingredients are - 100% vegan and nothing I can't pronounce, nothing I don't recognize, nothing that sounds like it came from a laboratory, etc. Something like this you'd assume 4$ a bar, noooope Dark Chocolate Cherry - I do get chocolated out very easily so the next flavor, Dark Chocolate Cherry is a nice alternative because despite the name it's subtle in the chocolate and has more of a cherry flavor with hints of dark chocolate. Again the flavor is all there and it's miraculous. Who in the hell told me vegan food had no flavor? Mango Coconut - my unassuming favorite. The coconut flavor doesn't overwhelm the bar like you see with anything with coconut in the label, which is nice because I'm not really a fan. But the cashews, dried apples, and dried mango make this bar POP. If I were to recommend a bar it would be this one just because of the unique and amazing tropical flavor this brings to the energy bar world. I would also like to bring up that these bars are very durable, I had probably 6-8 crammed in my backpack full of college textbooks at one time and they didn't fall apart, nor melt, nor did the packaging rupture. I can only think of how valuable the durability will be on overnight hikes/climbs/etc These are soft but not sticky, the nuts they have give a satisfying crunch but have never left any crumbs. The care and execution that went into the Tahoe Trail Bar makes this bar damn near perfect for the purpose it serves, I will be a lifelong buyer. Great product, great execution, great package, A+++

The best!! Convenient, fresh and great tasking.
I LOVE Tahoe bars! When they first came out with the PB flavor, I would stock up anytime I went to Tahoe/Reno area. When the bars made it to Sports Basement I would plan trips to my favorite store just to never run out! After a two year hiatus, a friend passing through town brought me some thinking they were only sold in Tahoe still. That got me back on the wagon 😂 and thankfully I looked them up. So many new (to me) flavors to try!The dark chocolate tree cherry is going to unseat my PB fav!The bars are handy, easy to pack, delicious and always soft. They make wonderful mess for the trail with 260 cals and 11g protein. I don’t limit these to just the back country though, I would pack them in my snow gear, great plane snack and recently as a meal replacement (the macros fit for what I was looking for) during my commute. The best part is, even my 9 year old will eat these! Can’t go wrong. Get all the flavors! 😂

Great chocolate taste and right amount of density to satiate my hunger
When I purchased this, I was looking for something with great chocolate taste and a chewy granola bar feel. Let's say I was not disappointed. This product had a nice chocolate balance, not too overwhelming, but definitely generous enough to satiate my chocolate cravings. The Dark Chocolate Cherry is one now of my favorite snack bars for when I'm on the go and just in general. I like the mouthfeel as well. They are soft, moist and not too chewy. Some trail bars are just too dry and others are too sticky. I think this product strikes a perfect balance. Most importantly, when I eat this, it leaves me feeling like I actually ate something of substance. Sometimes I have to eat two or three snack bars to feel satisfied. It takes only one of these bars to keep me going when I need it. Two to four of these live permanently in my camera bag to fuel me when I'm out shooting for my business. : ) I can't wait to try the mango coconut flavor Tahoe trail bar! Never adventure without them!
Last year I moved from Northern California to Houston, TX and one of the things I miss most is easy access to my Tahoe Trail Bars. I was first introduced to them when I rode the Death Ride in 2016 and they were giving out free samples. I was hooked! How could they balance so much nutrition, energy and taste in a plant based product? Easy on my stomach and perfect for long bike rides, runs, hikes, or whatever you might be planning. Next week we are taking this bar as the official bar of our 5 day Salkantay self supported hike to Macchu Picchu in Peru. We are so excited and know that we will have FUEL for the long days and cold nights. Thanks Tahoe Trail Bar!

A great bar!
So I'm hooked on the 50 by Cody Townsend. On the last show I watched he was saying how this bar is the only one he was not sick of. I could identify with that as I am also sick of all bars. The bar was great! The only problem is my family found my stash. Haha. I like the fact these bars are real food, that's not easy given the fact they are also gluten-free. Their website has some deals to try there bars if you are worried about buying 12.

Dry and Hard
I have been buying this product every month for seven years but the last three boxes of bars were dry and hard and not as tasty as previous boxes. I would have returned them but I already opened the boxes and put them away in another container.
