The quality of this item is excellent, the plastic is thick and sturdy and it really feels like a quality product. It's a clever design with a wheel base that has 3 different tops that can screw on and off using the battery powered drill (2 x AA not supplied) or as a manual screwdriver. There's plenty of components to take apart, change and put back together. The drill works really well, battery life is great (though a simpler way to change the direction than the small switch would be my only area for improvement) and taking the battery out of it to use to drive the vehicle is a genius idea.I gave as a gift for a 3rd birthday and he has played with it for hours, he is generally very able and capable so after a couple of short demonstrations he could do it all largely on his own. Definitely highly recommended this for any little budding mechanics!

My little one absolutely loves it, and plays with it every day. However, the screwdriver is a massive let down. It works wells to unscrew, but half the time doesn't work to screw on. Also, the RC doesn't work at all.

I bought this for my Godson (who's 4) for Christmas.He absolutely loves it. He loves taking things apart and putting them back together.The only downer is that two of the screws broke within the first couple of weeks of use, but Top Race were very kind and provided me (a new customer) with two replacement screws for free as a one-off. So I was pleased with that and pleased with the purchase overall.

The parcel arrived on time. Unfortunately the main control unit was missing which somewhat spoilt the Christmas present for a little five year old. There were no instructions on how to fit the parts together or indeed pictures large enough that would help a little one to follow and construct the trucks. I had to build the trucks on my own initially in order to direct my little grandson.On the positive side when I got in touch with Adam with regard to the missing part I immediately received excellent service and the missing part was speedily dispatched for which I thanked him.

sorry i only gave a 3 rating as hard for small hands to put together it would be better for an older child,and it kept falling apart

We bought this as my son loves playing with take apart toys. This is a fantastic quality toy and the added benefit of the remote control element is great. A huge success in our household, so much so that we have already ordered the other two available options.On a side-note, I initially thought the remote wasn’t working correctly and contacted Top Race. Their costumer service was first class. Turned out I hadn’t noticed a switch on the handle that my son had flicked off. But I was very impressed with their customer service.

Bought this for my grandson's 2nd birthday and he really loves it. It's well designed and good quality. Unfortunately he left the electric screwdriver in water, so breaking it. Even though it was his fault, customer service were really helpful and were able to rectify the problem immediately to everyone's satisfaction.We will definitely be returning as satisfied customers.
