I teach ESL online and now I also do Storytime via zoom. This is a great little light IF you have additional lighting. I have a clamp on one on top of my camera, this to the left and an adjustable arm light to my right. This is perfect to balance out all the shadows. When I am doing my virtual storytime at the library, I have the overhead lights and this is perfect to remove any shadows. I love that it's portable. I've taken my ESL teaching business to my sister's and this was perfect. If you want just one light, this probably won't do the job. You'd need a larger ring light. But if overhead lighting already exists, this is great to really brighten your face and remove shadows. I also use it just as a desk lamp in warm mode in the evening. I've adjusted it many times to fit my needs. Definitely recommend!

I'd value each piece of this set at about 3-4 dollars if I had to buy them individually, with the exception of the flexible tripod, which I'd say is more like 2 dollars value.At the price I purchased this at, $9.79, was certainly worth the rusk of buying it.Some important notes;The tripod base received has a metal base, & poles for folding feet, opposed to the fragile plastic noted in the item picture, & past reviews.Additionally, the selfie stick has a wider silver base, that looks like a washer they welded on, & threaded in 1/4th (standard tripod screw). This has the effect of being more uncomfortable to use as an actual selfie stick, but also, and in my opinion more importantly, giving the light more stability over all.The ball joint that comes with the light is comparable to the Neewer Ball Head I bought at the same time for 15 dollars, but the one that comes with this light I would value more about 6-7 dollars.It keeps my DSLR, with wide angle lens, in place at up to 30 degree angles,& I'd say outclasses it outclasses the build quality of everything else in this packageThe light itself is flimsy, & fragile, however it has all described functionality, & I'd say is worth about 3 dollars, as stated previously.Overall this is good if you're experimenting with the concept, or only need this sort of thing for a short time. Do not buy this if it is over 15 dollars, you will be disappointed.At, or below 15 dollars, you're getting what you've paid for, & I can assure you quality of the tripod base, selfie stick, & ball joint has infact improved since previous reviews.The light itself, & bending tripod are not improved, & the previous reviews are still accurate though.

The ring light works great. It’s a great deal, especially for the price. The tripod/phone stand broke in a day which is why I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5. I didn’t really buy it for the stand so not having it isn’t a deal breaker. I did find it tobe very convenient once I had it thought so I just bought a new stand.

I was concerned that this inexpensive smaller light would not cut it. WRONG!The light is very bright at its highest settings and has several levels of brightness. That plus the ability to change the temperature from bright white to more incandescent makes this ideal for getting the kinds of images/video you want. THE perfect tool for the Twitch/TikTok/Zoom star whether you're starting out or have been sharing for years!

The advertising picture is a little deceiving because the stand looks nothing like that. Its very flimsy. I also thought I would be able to attach that phone piece and I cant that was kind of disappointing. But still not bad for the price.

Perfect, my daughter asked for this for christmas... ordered it and received an email saying they are aware that the piece that holds the phone doesnt fit in the ring light, they sent another piece immediately after sending that email.. this product is pretty cool, my daughter was using it and me and my SO were in shock w how well the light worked and how cool it is that it comes w a remote to snap the pix or record a video instead of having ro use a timer.

The product received does not look like the one in the picture. The light is good but the tripod stand for the light looks like 3 thick wires with rubber stoppers on 2 of the 3 legs and one blunt edge wire that can scratch surfaces. It was a gift for someone and I told them it wasn’t what I was expecting. They said it works, but I am disappointed. I bought 2 and one is still in transit so I fear it’s the same. Would you send a black stopper for the 3rd light tripod leg? If you have the tripod stand in the picture I would like that one sent. It looks like it’s much better quality than the wire legs received. The remote for the light works though and the phone stand is fine. I would recommend the product except I am disappointed with the legs. Thank you.

Let me just say, I bought this for 3 purposes. 1. The light in my room is irreplaceable, so its hard to do my makeup. 2. My husband paints war hammer and I like to take pictures of his models. 3. My baby girl arrives in June and i plan on doing shoots with her. I was looking for a light specifically that adjusted in height and had a light that adjusted as well. Not only did this meet all of my wickets but the cord is extra long as well, making it easy to plug in anywhere. I would 10/10 recommend.
