Q: Does sugar veil set up stiff enough to stand a butterfly up in a cup cake? Also how difficult is it to cut through if it's wrapped around a cake?

You can cut through it just fine. I haven't used it for 3d figures yet but if you form it and use supports it should set in a flutter form. I wouldn't do it weeks in advance like you can with the lace bc it will be hard to store thrm without breaking them, but making them a day or 2 before should be fine.

Q: Does this work for sugar cookies- want to stamp it for cookies?

Yes - you can smooth a thin layer of SugarVeil onto the back of any of our Confectionery Mats to make a nice fabric which stamps wonderfully with food color (and it’s also a good surface for printing photos!).

Q: Can you use this on the sides of whipcream cakes?
