Factory G-Shock replacement, I needed to buy fresh pins but it fits like new, now for another 10 years in a body shop and see how long this one last... this watch and band has taken a beating on shop floor..

I didnt want a replacement that had double latches so I found this one. Install and fit is the same as the OE, however the notch holes aren't exactly the same, my wrist is essentially between two holes on this one where it was perfect on the other. However works fine, just wear it a little loose now. Not as wide as the OE either but again I saw a double latch version that appears bigger if thats a deal breaker. My OE lasted almost 10yrs so we will see about this one.

What kind of stupid company sends a new watch band and no new spring pins??? How do they know your pins are still good when you remove the old band?? Cheap stupid Chinese made garbage. I hate products from China. And Amazon won't allow a return on this watch band. BS!!! Next time I'll go to a qualified watch repair place and pay the extra money. Sometimes Amazon really SUCKS!!! Are you listening Bezos?? Probably not.

In terms of materials and fit - it's identical to the factory strap that came on my G-2500. In other words, if you liked the original strap - you'll like this one. I was concerned that the tongue and buckle are made of plastic, but they seem well-made and durable enough in person, so I don't think they'll be points of failure. Worth mentioning: on G-2500 you cannot reattach the plastic retainer bar for the original strap that is held on with screws. The design of this strap is slightly different and doesn't allow for the bar to go over it as it does on the original. Functionally, I don't think that retainer is hugely necessary, however, you'll have screw holes exposed. IMO, this only adds to the rugged, utilitarian, "unfinished" look of the watch, but your mileage may vary.

Pain in the Butt to install. I lost the "bar" that goes into the watch when it took off like a rocket. Just buy a new watch.
