Package arrived on time. our delivery was actually earlier in the day than normal and we were able to take this to use at the beach. Super easy to use! My kids actually set it up while we unloaded the car. Stakes were sturdy and kept it in place the whole time it was being used. I was even able to fold it back up and put it back in the bag for later use without difficulty. Convenient, durable, and large enough for the family to sit on. I will be taking it to use at the movie in the park later this month. I look forward to getting many years of use from this.

When going to the beach I always find it difficult to carry a large towel to sit on, then perhaps another one to dry off with if I go in the water. With kids, that challenge grows and more and more arms are needed the towels you need to lay on. One might ask well why not just use the towel you are laying on to also dry off with. This is possible of course, but keep in mind that when you get out of the water and lift up your towel a layer of sand goes all over and gets into all your stuff or the people next to you. Then, you are now laying on damp towel as you lay out. So I was looking for a simple solution to lay out on the sand and eliminate the load of stuff I need to carry. This mat was my solution. Simple enough, it is just a large rip-stop piece of fabric to lay out and has grommets to “spike” into the sand which it comes with. All rolls into a tiny little duffle and clip to just hang from your backpack or some reusable bag that you bring along for all your stuff. It is simple, lightweight and does the job. I have not been to the park to try it there, but can't see it not working there if I can use it at the beach. Recommended.

This folds into a very small space inside the neat little storage bag which was included. It is very lightweight and perfect to pack in a beach mbag or backpack. Comes with pegs to hold it down. Good size for two people. Keeps clean and sand easily brushes off. Well made and should last for many trips to the beach or picnics.

I purchased these to bring along on vacation when I learned the resort charged $25/day for each beach chair. 😳 The kids would’ve preferred I purchased one larger for them to share 🙄... but I thought they were perfect! Great quality/ durability! Will definitely use over and over again in the future. A good investment!

There's nothing necessarily super special to note about this mat, because what you see us what you get, which is a good thing in this case. It's lightweight, folds up easily, small to carry or throw in a bag. Love that it comes with a little hook if you need to clasp it to something. It's water resistant, and grass or leaves won't stick either. The only thing is that it doesn't stay in place very well unless you use the stakes, but those are supplied so not an issue unless you just don't want to deal with them.

Although the dimensions are given in the description I made more attention to the picture and received an "in front of the toliet" sized mat

Only giving 3 stars because I hate the material. When you read 'beach blanket' you expect a different kind of material than this, it feels like a tarp, definitely lightweight though, blew away a few times and the anchors dont work.

It’s very thin and light and works great on the sands. We also use it to cover our inflatable pool times to times. Only complain is it is little hard to fold back into case
