Epic Water Filters Nalgene OG Water Bottle with Filter, USA Made, BPA Free, Removes 99.99% Tap Water Contaminants, Forever Chemicals, GA 2030 Art, 48 oz

Got my first water bottle and filter from this company 4 years ago and they are the best ever! The water bottle is amazing quality (duh, I would expect nothing less from Nalgene) and has remained pristine after me beating it up from daily use. The art on the outside still looks beautiful and the lid is also good as new. The filter itself is what drew me to purchase it in the first place. Compared to other popular brands’ filters, Epic filters will filter out more contaminants at a higher percentage. The information Epic has on their website about each contaminant and the tested results of their filters is amazing. Just got my new bottle because I wanted a bigger one and am just as pleased already! It’s a testament to the quality of the bottle and filters that this is the first new water bottle I have purchased since my original one! I could write a whole love letter to my water bottles I love them so much!! Good bottle, buy it!

This is a great bottle. I love the Epic filter in my kitchen (although getting ever slower as many reviewers say) and I decided to have a bottle as well, especially for travel. In many places tap water in hotels is not safe and/or tastes horrible - this bottle helps avoiding buying in hotels expensive bottled water and reduces waste. I have a 32 oz and a 48 oz. The website on Amazon says "Now all bottles with 2 filters" "for tap water and for well water". Even showing a card board box holding 2 filters! Both bottles a I received have 1 Filter (see photo) and it is not clear if this is the tap- or well water filter. What experience have other customers?

This is by far the best purchase I’ve had in the last month or so. I chug water all day. I’m destroying the earth with my plastic bottles, and I often wonder if it is healthy to drink water from these plastic bottles. Now I can place tap water in my water bottle and feel comfortable drinking it. Worth the price already.

Removes odors from water, makes drinkable water, worked very good in Tanzania.

I liked it but just dropped it off a bench about 1 ft from the ground and the entire bottom cracked, only had it about 6 months so pretty disappointed

This straw does filter water but also added to my dehydration by decreasing my water consumption by approximately 70-80% due to how hard it is to drink from. My husband got me this for my birthday, he also got one for himself. After one day I knew this was more of a hassle than anything beneficial as far as drinkware is concerned, but I also know my husband and knew if I hated it this much he also would be not enjoying his hydration experience. I only had to wait a few more days for him to admit it was an awful investment and then I could stop using the filter guilt free. It’s hard to use the straw unless you’re also wanting to workout your facial muscles and it’s annoying to refill because it’s bulky and does drip everywhere. It does make water taste better though, if you can deal with it taking a lot longer/more effort to drink from.
